No I think it started with the text message exchange she read when Travis called her evil and a sociopath. It happened either the day or the day before the gun was stolen.

If she lived there then NO she didn't break in and steal it. She stole it and brought it with her.

Anyone see anything in any of these texts that could even remotely seem connected somehow to attraction to little kids?

I haven't. I've seen a lot of Travis finally getting his thinking straight and seeing JA as who she really was and calling her out on it. No one else had seen through her so well before and this was absolutely unacceptable to JA.

If Travis lived, she knew other people would hear from him about who he thought she was, and we all know how her 'reputation' was so much more valuable than Travis' life.

He was threatening. Threatening because he figured her out, not in any physical way whatsoever.

The threat was she would be exposed to all the people in their circle and she would be shunned (even more).

She would have to start over with all her own personal friends.

Oh right... problem with that - she was so obsessed with Travis and his life (and by default, his friends) that she very, very most likely didn't have any of her own friends at all anymore. She never seemed to have 'friends' much, ever... she had boyfriends and that seems to be the extent of her social life.

We have another possible motive, folks!
