I liked how she almost perjured herself on the stand with her own attorney when she said TA only hit her once and not in the face. Nurmi was squirming on that one!

She looked really creepy and scary during that exchange, after she realized what she'd done. If anyone has the video of that part, please post it!

My husband never uses scissors, always uses his pocket knife. I can be at the kitchen drawer getting the scissors out for him and he says he will use his knife. Maybe a guy thing?

The reason Jodi "f-dup" when describing the turnaround-sex-on-desk is because her own attorney, in opening statements, claimed Jodi was subjected to anal sex. But there's Jodi on the stand, claiming instead vaginal sex. Why is that a big deal? Because her own attorneys claimed all the anal sex was part and parcel of TA's abuse, and they specifically talked about this one incident where she is receiving the wrath of TA's anger (and anal sex) ...and here she went off script.

Jodi was actually relieved when all he did was bend her over the desk, pull her arm up behind her back, pull her pants down, and have quick and rough vaginal sex with her, ejaculating all over her back. When Travis was finished, Jodi was allowed to get up and go to the restroom across the hallway from the den. She washed herself off.

No. Once she says anything about the murder, JM will be able to ask her about her actions.

They have entered all of those photos in evidence, so he gets to ask specifically about what happened during that time period.

I know ColdPizza mentioned that her husband mentioned this.....but has anyone ever thought that JA used the pictures as a way to "swing by" TA's house on her "travels"?? Told him she'd drop the CD off, made moves on him, he goes to check out the pics and of course.....nothing, it was a ruse. Maybe he told her right then and there in his office to just get out. Get out and go and do not EVER contact me again. And he goes to take his shower......

You know, when she was talking about him putting the CD in and she was watching and "there were little bugs all over the screen"...I thought she must have uploaded a virus to his computer via that disc. I can see him yanking the CD out and throwing it across the room and telling her to get the eff out.

Travis seemed to go on a lot of trips and I think I read he would board Napoleon. I hope he did not leave the little guy home too often with the roommates who seemed to pay him no mind. So: TA alone: did not pick up Napolean from kennel yet. I am not making myself clear, but too tired to rewrite. I don't think it is wierd but I am not the person to really comment. I have let our dog "talk" on the phone to my husband when he was overseas.

Gawd, i don't trust her. as i said on the other page, i wish travis roommates could tell us if napoleon liked her or not. maybe napoleon avoided her, animals have a keen sense about people. i think she might have hated the dog.

well I don't for one second believe her about this amongst a thousand other details she's spewed in her testimony.. but I was curious as to why several were stating that this particular statement was a major eff up causing her Atty to give the big pause.. I seriously doubt his big pause was due to the fact that this account is a bold faced lie..hence why I questioned the significance of this particular lie...that's my question, still..?????

Is it possible that in the opening statement ,it was stated that it was anal sex?I remember the "bent over the desk" story,but not what type of sex was being referred to.Anyone else remember?Tia

Don't try and analyze the knife vs scissors things. It's a made up story--a fabrication. There was no knife that TA used. There was no tying up of JA with tassels. All a lie trying to get a knife into TA's room and/or bathroom to provide a convenient excuse for why JA was able to have a knife with which to inflict 28+ stab wounds.

Without being too graphic, that one photo of Jodi in evidence looks to me like there was anal sex that day.

Ummm...I don't think she achieved that "look" from just one day. Just sayin.

And then the two went upstairs to the bedroom, back up to get her stuff, but Travis, his temper had now subsided, and he was back into this sweet talking mode, he was sweet talking her to stay for a little bit longer because he had – in preparation for his Cancun trip that he was going to be leaving on shortly, he had been working out, and he had been dieting and so he really wanted to have pictures taken of him, tasteful pictures, to show his progress on what he’s done with his dieting and working out, and he wanted Jodi the photographer to take those pictures of him. And so, she did.

They went upstairs and he went into the shower, and Jodi began snapping pictures of him, tasteful pictures, waste up pictures for Travis. She was snapping picture after picture after picture, and you can see that this one was taken at – these pictures are ultimately found and time stamped, so you’ll see that this picture was taken at 5:29 in the afternoon. The next picture is the last picture of Travis taken in the shower, and you can see that in this picture, you can’t see so much if he’s sitting or standing, but you can see that his shoulders are out, and in the next picture you can see that his shoulders are out sitting on his knees. There’s a difference in a little over a minute between the two pictures. This is the last picture of Travis taken in the shower during their photo session, because the next picture is taken when Jodi accidentally dropped Travis’ camera. You can see that it’s not an intentional picture because 1. It’s blurry, and 2. It’s of the ceiling facing up.

Jodi accidentally dropped Travis’ camera, and as that camera was falling, that was enough for Travis, because he lunged at Jodi in anger, knocking her to the ground in the bathroom where there was a struggle. Jodi’s life was in danger. In just under a minute, in just a minute we go from this picture we go to the next picture, where it’s Travis’ body – he’s clearly injured already. In a minute. Now that very brief moment of time – a minute – is not the result of premeditation. It is not the result of a planned-out attack.

It is just one minute. Just one minute from the time you see the camera falling and you see the picture of Travis with blood. One minute. I was unable to watch, or hear, the testimony today. I just read a recap from ABC News and I swear I want to vomit. Jodi is an expert at projection. I cant believe she actually testified that Travis was upset that she was going on this trip without him. Hellllllllo, Jodi! You were über pissed that you weren't going on the upcoming trip with Travis. What scares me about this case is how gullible some people can be, especially if they have never encountered, or discovered, or admitted to themselves ....that they have been "had" by another person. Who among us has not been able to see the cold hard truth about someone? Well, there are many among us. I just hope they aren't on this jury.

I'm bringing this over from the last thread because I'm interested in all of your opinions on this!

I've noticed throughout her testimony that she always makes reference to Travis's dog as if he were a person. "Was Travis alone? No, Napolean was there". Even my very good friends who love their furry children don't refer to their pets as "being there" in the sense of "Are you home alone? No, Fuzzy and Cuddly are here with me."

I know that he was very dear to Travis, maybe he was dear to her, too. Or maybe it's a strategy to humanize her. It's baffling to me and I only mention it because I feel like it's overdone; even as far as her "accidentally" calling the dog by it's "nickname" 'Naps' and then correcting herself and calling him by his legal name.

Any thoughts?

Okay, I'm going to officially out myself as a complete dog nut/lover. I talk to my dog, about my dog, I buy my dog holiday gifts and sometimes my dog eats better dinners than I do. My friends and family and others who are aware of my dog-session don't find it odd if I include my dog in daily narrations ("Puppy and I are going for a ride").

With that said... I found JA's reference to "Naps" odd and she's made a few other references to him and other pooches throughout the trial and during interrogations that have struck me as disingenuous. I cannot forget the story about her locking her coworker's cat in a room for weeks without food/water. Nope. When she brings up dogs (her own, Travis'), she tries to make a point to her audience that *HEY!!! I LIKE DOGS!!!!!* but it's disconnected. Who the H answers "Was he alone?" with "Oh, no, Nap was there too." Only derranged people.

I can imagine her reading through her summer reading list in jail, assigned to her by her lawyers... "Chapter 4: Faking Compassion-- Psychopaths Hate Animals-- Pretend To Care about Animals Whenever you can".

Will someone explain the issue here regarding this particular testimony.. why is this particular account she gives here a screw up other than the obvious I stated in my post before thread closed..TIA to anyone who can clarify cuz I'm apparently lost about this issue..

I don't know what's strange about it at all. He pulled out to lesson the risk of pregnancy. It was bent over style, apparently. That's what I figured, anyway.

Folks aren't familiar with 'doggy style' maybe? Dunno!

I don't believe for a millisecond that she wasn't into it, btw. I can believe they had sex in the office about that time, sure.
