Her body language has MASSIVELY changed today. 99% of the time, Jodi's eye-contact is like she's watching a tennis match. She consistently looks at Nurmi to receive a question, then turns to look the jury DIRECTLY in the eyes.

But not today... Suddenly, she's:

-- Looking DOWN while Nurmi throws her a question (like she's on "Jeopardy," trying hard to remember/envision her rehearsed answer) and

-- Looking AT NURMI to answer many questions. She can't look the jury in the eye today, which is rare.

She's not having fun spinning her fairy tale life story any more. Now she really has to work, to get this right... to remember the lies she knows JM will NAIL her on.

Either that, or someone on that jury is throwing dagger-eyes at her. And she knows she's not being believed. I think she's wilting.

Jodi's demeanor in the courtroom absolutely changed today: She was obviously nervous and not feeling super-confident as in previous days of testimony. Jodi repeatedly adjusted her glasses, stroked her face (comforting gesture), looked down, rarely glanced at the jury, let her hair fall over her face to hide from the jury. Jodi was clearly out of her element today - maybe an indicator that she knows that the jury isn't buying her story. :moo:

JC talking about the notes the jurors were taking and they were taking more today than previously. Also noted how many notes JA's mom is taking, no doubt she will write a book with the blood of TA on her pen.

Wow Grammy Jean That is a great point, why did she have those CDs in the rental car..Hope JM is going to ask her about that.

It's a good catch, but she'll explain it away.

These are for her photography business, for which she told us she now has a separate checking account.

They're simply for storing her livelihood -- or images of another hood.

I highly doubt it.

And the ME said the blade alone would have to be at least a 6in blade. My hubby's pocket knife is smaller in length with a much thinner blade.

This sounds more like a large switchblade or possibly a sturdy lethal KBar military knife.

IMO

Yes, but I wondered if a pocketknife were found in his room why he would need the larger knife to cut the mythical decorative rope that Jodi is trying to place in the bedroom/bathroom.

For the LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY! This chick has been "spun around" more than Ginger Rogers! I screamed at the tv 25 times today ... "LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE" he obviously wanted her to leave. Gimme a frickin' break... He loses it over some stupid assed cd containing pictures of you? I thought a trip to <modsnip> calmed him down? So he loses it over PICTURES? You mean the ones that you PLASTERED all over every social media site you could find? PAAALEASE!

Two final parting words while we wait for Katiecoo to fill us in .... <modsnip>.

:chillout: Chilled myself out.

:floorlaugh: Omg spit the java!! :floorlaugh:
:rocker:

The rope for bondage had to be really long since TA had a sleigh bed, so, he had to cut it in the bathroom. Why was that again?

And they didn't have sex in his office she's just trying to explain evidence of her in there that's why she is saying he ejaculated on her back .. No sperm found. Even if he had there would have been some around.

I don't believe she pulled up out the front either.

She did say in the beginning of the trial that she went in and out as many people did, but I didn't get the impression it was the back.
Wonder if any neighbors saw the car?

Beth Karas: "Everyone's wrong if it's not convenient with her story."

The rebuttal case is going to be damning for her. Juan must enjoy letting her talk and hang herself with that rope that never existed.

What Travis said: "You're a three hole wonder!"

What Jodi's hears: "You're WONDERful!"

EXACTLY! She keeps saying over an over and over... how much she liked it!

The reason Jodi "f-dup" when describing the turnaround-sex-on-desk is because her own attorney, in opening statements, claimed Jodi was subjected to anal sex. But there's Jodi on the stand, claiming instead vaginal sex. Why is that a big deal? Because her own attorneys claimed all the anal sex was part and parcel of TA's abuse, and they specifically talked about this one incident where she is receiving the wrath of TA's anger (and anal sex) ...and here she went off script.

Her attorney said it was "rough vaginal sex" in her opening statement

Her respiration depth and rate changed noticeably.

The inappropriate smiles and giggles are all but gone.

She was fully adrenaline-amped today.

Remember, she didn't sleep last night.

Jury, you are to feel sorry for her but forget about that revelation.

Can anyone help me real quick, I have been searching for 20 minutes with no luck. There is a post somewhere that shows the pics of Travis in the shower, in succession so you can see the progress from each photo to the next on the same screen. Anyone remember this or know where it is? TIA!

Never mind! As soon as I posted this, I found it! :)

I agree wholeheartedly....as does my niece who is a court reporter. Said she has never seen a judge allow some of the happening ....ie: the defense attorney constantly going back and forth from one date/event to another and back again is coming from either an inexperienced attorney or one who is trying to confuse/mislead the jury. She said most judges would let the attorney know to get his act together, and do it quickly. She said she has never seen a judge allow a defendant to write a book for each answer and lastly she said she has never seen a judge allow the defense attorney to blatantly lead the defendant and/or testify for the defendant. In my nieces' words this is a fuster cluck. She asked if this is the judges first DP trial? Does anyone know??

I believe I saw somewhere that it was her first death penalty case.

You know a couple of days ago somebody posted about TA's sleigh bed and The fact that that would have to be a long rope. Voila!

I find my self logically thinking that he would have just wrapped the rope around the headboard and then let out enough rope on each side for the arms and to tie around the hands and then I snap out of it and realize NONE OF IT IS TRUE!

I think that is crazy on my part... trying to rationalize all of her crazy lies.

I have to literally stop myself- and think- no, she is lying.

I want to know what she did with the weapons.

She made a mega mistake leaving the camera, but remembered to get rid of the weapons, and the floor mats in the car.

I don't believe she was tied up either. Just trying to poke holes in her story about the kitchen knife in the bedroom/bathroom.

Who ties their sex partner up with upholstery yarn?

That said, they did find pieces of that "rope" (forgot the measurements Flores took, maybe 3/16"?) in various places at the crime scene, including in blood.

Not even close! You're a master baiter aren't you???? :floorlaugh:

I think Katiecoolady must have me on ignore though. She has not uttered a word in response to my (totally serious) inquiries about Mr. M, esq.

I'd do it myself if I lived there (I would, I have no shame and even less modesty, as we all discovered during the BC murder trial).

:floorlaugh: I looked closely at his ring finger for you and I didn't see a wedding band! That doesn't necessarily mean he's single, though... Just helpin' a girl out!
