MsChan,
Gus is talking about the 9th rather than the 4th, and for some reason (ratings) all the shows pretend they don't know that.
It's ridiculous !!!

Yes, they were going on about how it such an amazing "bombshell."
The call has no importance whatsoever, outside of Gus's sense of self-importance.

She is now married with the last name of Taylor, at that time her last name was Alvarez.

well, for her going with the photo shoot in the shower of TA's nice toned body....that ain't gonna work....most all are head shots.....then the back.....and the quality is POOR

...some out of focus/blurry, all from below (crouching position) and none with flash. The last picture of TA looking at her that everyone says was clear...I think it was enhanced by the investigators. That's why there are two of them. One dark and one lightened up.

The first thing that gives me pause there was that she was crying hysterically. I know that's not the issue but JA doesn't cry unless it's tears for herself....

That call would have been 3:30am on June 5th (I suppose). When did we think she left the house... around 7pm on June 4th give or take? She had to wait for the load of laundry. I'm not looking at a timeline and my mind is fuzzy (or should I say I'm in a fog....?). Did she go to Chili's that night or the next night? I think she humped Ryan the following night, so was she on the road then? Am I just rambling on?

eta: I read a couple of responses above mine that make more sense, so scratch everything I said.
Regarding the other responses, when he first broke free of his, shall we say, gag order?! those were my thoughts. He would have had to be mistaken on the date. However, since he's still standing so firmly behind that statement, I have to believe he's surely done his homework, ie; checking his phone records etc. One of our sleuths had found & linked an article on him having the patent on voice recognition technology, leading me to assume he's somewhat tech savvy. Surely that can be easily debunked if he's getting the dates mixed up. I know he said he left for Cancun the next day, could that have possibly been a seperate time than Travis' upcoming trip? If it has been established as one in the same, HLN really needs to stop giving him any air time!!! This whole story is plenty complicated enough without the unnecessay camera time seekers! :please:

LOVE THIS:

Nurmi: Where were you working in May 2008?
JA: (blah, blah) Casa Ramos
Nurmi: Is this is mexican restaurant?
JA: Yes, it's a mexican family restaurant
Nurmi: Did you ever refer to it as Margarritaville?
JA: No...*smirk, giggle.*I thought that was a country song

OOPPPSIEEEEEEE DAISY!!!

They are just going to say that Ryan got it wrong or lied. Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons that they will be questioning her for days more...GAG

Maybe she will try to say Travis shot himself. He has been blamed for every thing else.

Ok so I got to the court for the afternoon and found some of my courtroom pals (Travis' friends) and was told there was a new seating situation for the friends of Travis now. Wasn't sure how it was gonna go down until T's friend Pam approached me with Tanisha's husband Harold and said "you're a cousin of the family now" and he put his arm around me and ushered me in. So I ended up seated right in the front row just two seats down from Travis' family. I had a front row seat to the jury and to JA.

Once I was seated this camera man who I know (Dennis from In Session) asked me if I'd heard "the news". He then went on to tell me at length how both Beth K and Jean C had been "laid off" and how Tru Tv is dissolving to just two hours of taped trials only w/ Vinnie and no more live trials. I'm still so devastated about this I don't want even to type it. I did end up talking with both Beth and Jean today in person. This will be their last trial (if anyone wants to talk to me about going in on some kind of gift, let me know. I'll definitely get a special card for eeach of them but there's time for that). That' sjust horrible news to me personally. I hope someone else rises up to fill that gap.

Ok gonna post this then review my notes.....:seeya:

On the doctor Drew show somebody said that the women are more likely to feel sorry for JA because they can relate to being abused and used, but the men are siding with Travis because they put themselves in Travis's position. Now how many women her feel sorry for Jodi?

Thanks much, Linda. :tyou:

That's similar, but the shower pics were on a webpage.

The link I saw actually had larger thumbnails adjacent in a montage, I think, from top left across and down to lower right.

Just wondering if someone had seen it and had the link.

confused the heck out of me to.. not to mention where was she...? In yreka?

(I totally missed the context with all the jumping around)

That confused the heck out of me. I just listened to that part of the testimony. :waitasec::waitasec::waitasec::waitasec::waitasec:

She's going to say that the gun was already there. And, really, no one can say if Travis had gotten a gun somehow or if he was an owner. The fact that the gun was "already there" is not going to be as much of a problem for her as where it went after the murder.

If that is her explanation, hopefully there will be several of Travis' friends or family who will debunk it in a heartbeat.

I really think she ad-libbed here (and thought she was downright cute doing it). Not the answer Nurmi expected-and I suspect one of many times she's gone off-script. She's even toying with her lawyer...imo

I don't think even one here!

anyone have any wild guesses on the gun?

so far she is up to the shower bit and says "I have no gun. I have no knife."

she basically gave up the knife (her version.. which I don't buy)
1) in bedroom cause Travis used it to cut rope
2) from the house (butcher block)

but what is she going to spin about the gun? (she denies robbing her grandparents)

Of interesting note: when she called Flores the day after Travis was discovered he asked her if Travis had a gun. She very quickly and with no hesitation said "no. I would know if he had one."

Words that hit too close to home. Words that likely sent her spiraling into the rage which led to planning Travis' death. MOO

She is too proud to allow her defense to impugn her sanity-- hopefully she will pay for her pride with her life. It's a lot easier, in my opinion, to justify what she did with an insanity plea, especially with all the support of Travis and others saying she's a crazy psychopath.

This could be some of the irritation we felt in the questioning today. I think the DT wanted to use insanity and she said absolutely not. So whenever evidence comes forth that she makes no sense, is a psycho, is disturbed, she gets VERY agitated.

At this point, (my opinion only) she realizes she has made a big mistake. She should have either stuck with the ninja story or gone with crazy-with-love-if-I-couldn't-have-him-no-one-can. This has worked for murderesses before and frankly, I'm grateful she made this mistake.

She is a cold, cunning ***** running from ex-boyfriend to ex-boyfriend as she cruises the roads like a predator, looking for a new mark. I'll bet she got money from each one of these guys so she would be on her way quickly.

"You want gas cans --here. You want money--here, now please leave!"

I think she's imploding. Her little web of lies is starting to bite her in the a@@ and she knows it. She's lost herself in all her stories, she's getting to the critical part which will likely decide her fate, and she knows she's doing poorly. The body language she displayed today shows true fear to me.

Unless the jury are a bunch of brain dead morons (and I don't think that in the least), her hours and hours of "sextipades" don't mean two pinches of coon chit to them. What they want to hear is what made her SO afraid she had to murder him in such a brutal and cruel fashion. THAT is what they're waiting for, and she knows it. So does her attorney. Their CIC is drawing to a close, and they both know that Juan is waiting in the wings to rip her to shreds. That would most likely cost me sleep too. JMHO. :panic:

I'm sure that Nurmi will drag out her testimony to cover the trip to Utah and back to Yreka, then each day until her arrest. Lots more testimony for another week to hypnotize the jury into forgetting the horror of the actual murder.

Once I took my seat, I was handed a blue ribbon to pin on my shirt with two tiny pearls. It was absolutely daunting sitting up there with the family.

Ok to my notes:

Jurors closest to JA not looking at her...at all, whether she's talking or not

Not one juror looks at her as they walk in or out. She stands there with her "Von Trapp family" ;) stance staring at them as if they are looking back when in fact, not one of them looks at her...EVER.

Nurmi wearing chunky Doc Martens. He just lumbers around the courtroom like the Beast from Beauty and the Beast and that's flattering.

JA was staring at someone in the gallery with a totally blank stare.

Nurmi drags everything out. He glared at us in the hall as he walked in. It's like he's trying to be so fierce but he's faking it.

Juan walked past us and someone said "we're waiting for you" and he put his fingers in the shhhhh to his lips and silienty did that shhhh.

Juan's nostrils flaring during direct. Whispering to Flores during something (no notation on that). I wrote SHE"S LYING next to that.

Jury's not buying it. There is again only ONE juror who concerns me. He still concerns me. But just one.

It's possible I guess but not surefire. If she had the knife first (not the gun) I don't think that she would rely on the flash of a camera that she wasn't familiar with.
