How did she get out of the house without leaving a trail of blood? She had to have been covered in it. jmo

Yep, she had blood on her hands as per her testibaloney but yet there are no bloody prints on the door knob etc. Ummmm yeah.

They forgot about the laundry.

To be honest, I'm surprised her self defense story is so horrible. I knew it would be a pack of lies but I didn't expect it to be THAT nonsensical. Wow. I bet Juan is thrilled.

IMO

Personally speaking, (as I can only speak for myself of course), I follow the dictates of Jesus Christ, although am not a Christian.:waitasec: His pattern in otherwords, is perfect.
Therefore, I would never have been on this jury even though I live in Phoenix.

Reason?

I don't believe in the Death Penalty. :twocents:

I do believe when there is any smidgeon of doubt, give the other the benefit of that doubt. Revenge does not bring back anyone's dead loved ones.

And in our country, we've seen dozens, (how many now) since DNA proven to have been murdered at the hands of the executioner, when they were actually innocent all along.

Not that Jodi is innocent of course, she is admitting to having done this horrific crime.

Yet, I find pity in my heart for her.

Imagine that!!!!!:jail:

In Jesus' day the courts of law gave penalties far more stiffer than what Arias will get. And even in my short stint in criminal justice i saw far more injustice than justice. IMO there are far more guilty people in jail than innocent....and far more guilty walking among us.

Even if you believed every word she said on the stand today... Does it amount to self-defense? I think not.
...and I so want this to be over with and her convicted of 1st degree murder. Anything less, IMO, would be like agreeing that there's one iota of truth to her pile of bs.

I am so confused Mike Brooks just said a gun was never found...I thought one was found weeks later hidden in the trunk.

do people in fugue states clean up, splash water on the floor, and not track one bloody footprint down the stairs, start a load of laundry and pour bleach on evidence?

nah... I didn't think so.

Take (at least she thought) all evidence that you were there, put the slashing weapon in the dishwasher- fill and start the dishwasher.

Oh yeah... highly likely- NOT.

I think she may have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the camera- even with her bloody co-mingled hand print with Travis' and her hair covered in his blood.

The irony of the camera being her undoing will never be lost on me- ever.

wonder if she remembers locking that bedroom door?? she would have had to find the key....maybe it was on the shelf with the gun...lol

and locked it with her blood covered hands.

After her arrest, her mom asked about her gun. The police checked her get-a-way car (the new rental) and it was hidden in the engine, I believe.

Sociopath. IMO.

I don't get this??? Didn't she say she bought the gun AFTER the murder when she was back in Yreka? Would she have still had the rental car??

She remembered more when the ninjas were doing the killing. She was trying to put the ninja's actions in order to fit the crime scene. So everything she told him is what happened. Travis screaming "but not like a girl", Travis on his hands and knees. Like I said earlier the only remorse she has spoken about has been about her and the end of her lifestyle. She cries quite a bit about that.

I think she doesn't have a clue. It would mean admitting she wasn't the world's most sympathetic victim and greatest liar - fully capable of manipulating 18 people into believing she was so abused, so greatly in fear, that there was any other possible outcome.

For a psychopath such an admission, unless there is a greater gain, is simply unconscionable.

That wasn't the murder weapon, it was the new gun that Jodi bought after the murder when she was going to kill herself.

pre-meditation can happen in a split second it doesn't take mins/hours/days to make it pre-meditation..it can happen in a blink of an eye...like that first stab wound or grabbing the gun and pointing it at him...

I had no idea, until reading this forum, that premeditation could happen in a split second.

Can anyone give me an example of a true self defense case/scenario?
TIA

The prosecutor needs to change the charge away from a Death Penalty and give her a Plea Deal, imo to save this case from total loss if he wants to win it.

At least I'd give her the benefit of the doubt after hearing her side.

Where was the pre-meditation to kill him that day?

Just saying, I would not give her the benefit of the doubt, her side of lies:twocents:

T.O., I completely missed this! What was her answer? Did she admit to dragging him back to the shower?

Nope! She "conveniently" can't remember the troublesome parts.

ha ha, I expected a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 of hate to come out, but not this quickly.:seeya:

What did she say exactly, out of her mouth. Did she say, "I went over to see Travis, not to have sex and make up sex, but rather to stab and shoot him??

I just started to really pay attention to this trial today, and she was on the stand, so forgive me, I may have missed that part to which you refer.

bbm - What criminal defendant would say that??? And if they said that to someone, it would be fought like heck to be kept out by the defense attorneys (probably successfully) perhaps on the grounds of hearsay or some other ruling. Even if she said that, her word means nothing. The jury is not new to the trial and has a solid understanding of her past and her lies... they know to take her word with a healthy dose of skeptisism, at best.

I missed the first 15 minutes thus morning anyone have a link to it on YouTube yet?

You know what .. I would have been happy with LWOP until I watched her drag Travis' name through the mud in an attempt to save herself from the DP .. now I want nothing short of it. Great strategy by the defence. If they hate her and want to see her get DP themselves.

I wonder who the gent is sitting with the defence team today. PTSD expert?

This argument is moot because it presupposes that JA was honest. She is a PROVEN liar. How can you believe what she said on the stand?

ETA: I'm betting that the prosecutor will put number to paper re her story about renting the car to save gas. She is not going to get past the fact that she carried 3 gas cans so that she would not show any transactions or be caught on any tapes near Travis' house. These decidions were made BEFORE she ever left California.
