To be honest, I'm surprised her self defense story is so horrible. I knew it would be a pack of lies but I didn't expect it to be THAT nonsensical. Wow. I bet Juan is thrilled.

IMO
he didn't really have to come to work....just let the defense do his job for him.

Why do they care about the rope- making it important? She said herself she could get out of it at any time.
So JA had an excuse that Travis had the knife in the room to cut the rope.

How did she get out of the house without leaving a trail of blood? She had to have been covered in it. jmo

I think she showered before she left the bathroom. Yes, that does mean she would have had to have been standing over/on Travis to do so and leave no blood evidence beyond the few feet into his bedroom.

The DT pranced right over that (and a bunch of stuff), so Juan Martinez will clear a lot of things up - unless she just repeats "I don't remember" over and over again - which is highly likely.

That's going to be super frustrating... but she's already set the stage for it with her memory lapses about the murder this morning. grrrrrr

I remember Flores testifying that the closet was untouched, perfect order. Guess Jodi forgot she locked the door behind her so no one was in his closet picking up after her and if she was full of blood she was not in there afterwards either. jmo

if you look at the crime scene photos it does look good----those had to have been taken at that time---

SELF DEFENSE???
She just said she broke away from naked TA clutches and ran down the hallway - to FREEDOM

BUT WHAT DID SHE DO??
Instead of turning left OUT THE bedroom DOOR to freedom JA instead turns RIGHT into the closet where, mirablis dictu, a gun is found. A gun JA told the detective TA did NOT have or OWN.
Why turn right into the closet??? to escape.

Of course the entire account JA provided is a self serving fabrication.
Again JA savagely murdered TA in cold blood with MALICE AFORETHOUGHT.

JA lies about the gun.
She had a gun with her on the way to Mesa. She stole the gun from the Grandfather.
She conscientiously prepared an alibi and acted after the murder as if NOTHING happened.
She was IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM suicidal. Nor has JA ever been suicidal. JA would not know what it is like to contemplate suicide.

EXACTLY!! All that running and chasing yet ( in a big house) it's all contained to a 6ft foot radius? Even in those stupid scary movies NOBODY would go BACK to the bathroom!

The prosecutor needs to change the charge away from a Death Penalty and give her a Plea Deal, imo to save this case from total loss if he wants to win it.

At least I'd give her the benefit of the doubt after hearing her side.

Where was the pre-meditation to kill him that day?

Her testimony is all self serving......and LIES...give her the benefit of the doubt??? What doubt are you talking about?

That voicemail she left is going to be very telling to the jury. There isn't a LICK of sadness in her voice and I don't care if you're the best actress in the world, there is no WAY you can cover up fear and sadness THAT well. She was proud of what she'd done, she was happy he was gone, she was saying to herself "How do you like that, Travis?"

She's crying because she's going to spend the rest of her life on Death Row and isn't even going to be able to grind other chicks.

:floorlaugh:

But then Jodi has a rich sexual fantasy life. From "little red riding hood" to "alice in wonderland", she has no shortage of kinky sex fantasies to keep her entertained.

She said she wanted to die a number of times today. I think the jury should grant her that wish.

Arghhhhh noooo! Not the dreaded eyeball discussion......

Sorry Linda.. New to posting on threads.. I'll withdrawl my pupil prose :truce: :)

The questions come when the defense finishes with her right?

No, I think it (jury questions) happens after cross and any other re-direct and/or re-cross.

ha ha, I expected a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 of hate to come out, but not this quickly.:seeya:

What did she say exactly, out of her mouth. Did she say, "I went over to see Travis, not to have sex and make up sex, but rather to stab and shoot him??

I just started to really pay attention to this trial today, and she was on the stand, so forgive me, I may have missed that part to which you refer.
I've watched every day of trial and intensely read everything I could find on this case prior to trial.

This is my impression, as a domestic violence survivor myself, just FWIW:
Jodi is a psychopath that intentionally and willfully murdered Travis because he had the audacity to desire a life without her. Further, he saw beyond her human mask to the monster lurking just below.

I also fully believe, because all psychopaths are by their very nature abusive to anyone closely linked to them, that Travis was the victim of manipulative and controlling behaviors very consistent with intimate partner violence. There is overwhelming evidence of these behaviors in some of Jodi's testimony, police interviews, some evidence presented and other statements made by people who have known her, easily discernible, if one is familiar with these.

In total honesty I find Jodi repulsive and repugnant. I find it disgusting when a person, any person, so cavalierly misuses abuse when I had to personally fight a family court to believe me. Further, on a very basic human level I think she is the personification of evil. A psychopath who wills destruction and chaos to all those around her - who will stop at nothing to continue to destroy, demean, and denigrate the man she already murdered - out of what I believe is plain sadism, in addition to her supposed, personally implausible defense.

I don't get this??? Didn't she say she bought the gun AFTER the murder when she was back in Yreka? Would she have still had the rental car??

It's Rental Car #2.

I know, we need a picture chart of the cars, the guns and the road trip.
