Personally speaking, (as I can only speak for myself of course), I follow the dictates of Jesus Christ, although am not a Christian.:waitasec: His pattern in otherwords, is perfect.
Therefore, I would never have been on this jury even though I live in Phoenix.

Reason?

I don't believe in the Death Penalty. :twocents:

I do believe when there is any smidgeon of doubt, give the other the benefit of that doubt. Revenge does not bring back anyone's dead loved ones.

And in our country, we've seen dozens, (how many now) since DNA proven to have been murdered at the hands of the executioner, when they were actually innocent all along.

Not that Jodi is innocent of course, she is admitting to having done this horrific crime.

Yet, I find pity in my heart for her.

BBM I liked your posts, Leomoon80, I like reading everybody's thoughts but I am getting tired of all the slams against Nuri and JA's family.

I have always been pro death penalty but since moving back to Texas and reading about all crap prosecutions (Todd Willingham for one and his horrible defense attorney) I am thinking twice about the death penalty in some cases.

BUT yesterday she said they had to use her camera for the so called sex videos????

I don' know if you all caught that part of her testimony or what JK reported but Wow. That's a big huge mistake among such a boatload I don't get how the other guy thinks she could get 2 nd degree as a possibility???

The gun she purchased (and which they found) was NOT the murder weapon. It was a 9 mm.

She remembered more when the ninjas were doing the killing. She was trying to put the ninja's actions in order to fit the crime scene. So everything she told him is what happened. Travis screaming "but not like a girl", Travis on his hands and knees. Like I said earlier the only remorse she has spoken about has been about her and the end of her lifestyle. I think you are correct. There is actually more TRUTH regarding the murder based on JA initial ninja story than BS story proffered today.
There is alway more accuracy provided the nearer the event when it is offered.
JA lied thoroughly to police on day 1 but got it kind of right on day 2 when she was initially arrested.

This total abortion of a story today was concocted after sitting in jail for 4 years.

I can't believe how terrible her testimony was. How on earth did her team of lawyers even agree to this?? They sit there smugly and yet this was all they had? This is a joke.
For all those who watched the KC trial her story seems like genius compared to the self-destroying testimony given my Arias today. It borders on insanity.

I agree. Even her precursor story (the reason she ran into the closet rather than down the hall) wasn't one that ended in violence. So he caught her at the stairs and he freaked her out. Then he explained things and everything was fine.

How does that translate to June 4th and running into the closet instead?

Her precursor story of August 2007 pointed more toward yet another stalking incident on her part than the reason she feared for her life on June 4th.

IMO, she bought that gun to kill the Hughes. They did not like her!

I have thought that as well… If she were to 'go there'. If she wanted to make it look like a hit of some sort, make it look like something associated with PPL business gone wrong, and NOT a personal issue.
She did blame the Hughes for the failure of her acceptance, or something (??), why not tie them into her fantasy that would throw off anyone from thinking Travis' murder was something personal.

You see shoes? They look like black socks to me... you can sort of the 'bumps' of her toes - and the shape is too foot-like for me to think it's a shoe (plus no stitching, no silhouette of a sole or anything else)... jmv.

Did she specifically say she was barefoot or just that she didn't have shoes on. If the latter, it could be socks... or she could be lying about being barefoot since she's wearing socks (imv) in the photo.
