OMG her lawyer makes me wanna pull my hair out!

Fairly typical I think for the 'lead' detective in a murder case to be present as part of the prosecution team. I've seen it in British trials I've attended too. Often they have years of work invested in a case and the trial is the culmination.

Happens In Canada too. Not at the Table with Council but beyond the bar with their own table.

so when JM gets his turn for cross do you think he will go for the jugular and just hit upon the most important parts or do you think he will go through each and every one of the issues she discussed on direct and disprove them?

Although I'm sick of hearing her voice, I kind of hope he goes through EVERY SINGLE PIECE of her testimony so we can watch her squirm and struggle with answering his questions

her paper cut and advil suicide failed so it was a sign to talk to CBS. I must be in a punked episode right now

i'm afraid my eyeballs might roll out of my head. i would be funny in a movie.

"I wanted the world to just perceive me as a normal person"

Yep, it's all about Jodi.

and her reputation....she was so sweet :furious::furious:

Jodi's reputation is of paramount importance to her. It is behind this facade of normalcy that she fishes in the sea of humanity. She needs to be away from people for the rest of her life. I don't think mankind is capable of curing evil.

a suicide attempt by paper cut and advil?

  • #1,331
Suicide kept getting put on hold? WTH?? If you're suicidal, you're suicidal - you don't wait til it's convenient or until you finish all your media appearances.

  • #1,332
I betcha she isn't going to have razors anymore

She took Advil over a few days after she was in jail, and considered slitting her wrists? That justifies her attorney mentioning her suicidal tendencies over and over? That's she started her testimony, that she'd planned on suicide, hence no jury would be able to find her guilty. A fleeting suicidal thought after she was arrested and confronted that it was known she was there?

Yet she only inflicted mortal harm one person, and it wasn't herself.

So failed suicide attempt = un-attempted suicide attempt?

  • #1,336
I guess you have buy more Advil. I always try to kill myself with an aspirin. The downside it takes about 78 years to work

  • #1,337
I don't mean to laugh due to the seriousness of this trial and out of respect for the victim but this is just JIBBER JABBER. I can't even focus on it, my thoughts trail off!!!

"my suicide kept getting put on hold, but I planned to do it before it aired" (the interview). LOL who says that??

  • #1,338
All together now "So Jodi, how did the Advil make you feeeelll"

Place your bets now. How many more "how did it make you feel"s before the end of today's session. The closest person gets a signed 8x10 glossy of your favorite Pyramid salesman.
