This prosecutor has an encyclopedic memory, doesn't even need to read from notes, has an extensive command of the evidence, the law, 'owns' that courtroom (IMO), and has to be one of the most brilliant attorneys out there. He needs absolutely nothing from WS.

Not all defense teams read WS but some surely do. I saw it personally, as in-person, in a courtroom, during a murder trial, by a defense team member.

To add to my previous comment, MOO that she's obviously lying re: not remembering the killing, it is - as another poster so adequately described - a chickensh** move. If she was going to fess up, she should have done it all the way, otherwise we are all left to believe, given that she's showing so many signs of deception, is that the thing she is hiding from us is her true violent, psychopathic nature.

I mean, not that we can believe anything she says anyway. But it was IMO a bad day for the defense. Though there have been a lot of those, IMO!

PS cannot believe she used the phrase "throw the scent off for a little while, so to speak" today re: avoiding apprehension! Yikes!

You could say that she was apprehensive about impending apprehension.

Her description is so freakin convoluted. I think she might have lost her case for self defense right then and there.

Basically she says he came out of the shower, and body slammed her. They both fell on the tiled floor, and she rolled over, stood up and ran down the hall, with him chasing behind. [ why didn't she have any bruises or injuries from him bodyslamming her to the tile floor?]

Ok...but then she had a choice of turning left and heading out of the bedroom and out of the home , or right , and running into his closet to get the gun.

So RIGHT THERE, she left her self defense claim on the trash heap. Because she chose to go to the closet and look for his gun, and then supposedly went into the bathroom and accidentally shot him. [ :liar:]

First of all, how would she be certain the gun was still there? Would she gamble her life on that decision? She decides not to run for freedom, but chooses to stay in his home, and look to see if his gun was still there?

But imo, there was not enough time for her to climb on a stool, find the gun, and get down, before he would have grabbed her. It was a small hallway, and he was only a few feet behind her. Where was he while she was climbing up in the closet shelves?

Makes ZERO sense, imo. :jail:

It was epic, wasn't it!?! That posting helps sink one of the appellate claim points about Ward not being allowed to testify as a forensic computer examiner. Ummm...Ward himself said he told the defense he wasn't qualified. D'oh!

I thought it was fairly common for murderers to want to return to the scene/go to the funeral/attend vigils, etc.

"Did you BREAK IN to your grandparents house and steal a gun?" And she says "no, I didn't.

Did you get someone else to BREAK INTO your grandparents hose, etc. and of course the answer is no.

She did not need to BREAK IN. She was already in.

I too am in total agreement with those who are of the opinion that the official murder plan was born the night of the text/emails where Travis completely calls her out being a sociopath, scam, liar and that he wants her out of his life and that she is to immediately come clean..he says that whatever the truth is, is far better than the wrath she will find in his telling everyone she cares for(parents, friends, etc) the truth about what all she has done..

IMO this was the point of no return for her as far as she was concerned.. IMO immediately the plan was put into action in as little as 2 days later she had stolen the gun and IMO was well underway her intentional plan to not only kill him, but to go about inflicting the ultimate death for Travis.. that being that
a) I absolutely believe the full, vanilla, vaginal sex was an absolute MUST to occur immediately proceeding the murder..this for the obvious reasons due to his faith and beliefs and what she felt that would mean for him in his afterlife..IMO the hateful slaughtering of this man's human, life here on earth was not good enough for Jodi..IMO she wanted him to suffer the ultimate hell for eternity and in her mind this particular agenda would set that eternal fate in motion..

and then..

b) that the more she planned and pondered his murder, IMO the more determined she became that the death via gunshot would not suffice for the amount of evil and damage she wanted to inflict on Travis..meaning that the knife became the intended mode of murder..the most personal, up close, and personal infliction of pain face to face, eyes to eyes in her anticipating seeing the fear and terror of his realizing she was going to take his life..this IMO became important to her in those days leading up to carrying out this murder( her using a knife vs a gun..)..

IMO these above details were of grave importance to her in creating the ultimate murderous punishment for this man daring to reject her, call her out by name, describing to a tee her evil intents and ways, and most of all his threat to expose these truths to the world..but IMO what Jodi was so very sorely mistaken about was this notion that Travis was going to expose her secret..the secret of who the real, psychopathic Jodi was..when the Gods honest truth was EVERYONE ALREADY KNEW THIS, MANY KNEW IT WELL, AND KNEW IT WAY PRIOR TO TRAVIS' EVER WAKING UP TO WHO THE REAL JODI WAS..

IMO ONE OF HER BIGGEST MOTIVES COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE FLAWED IN THAT THERE WAS NO TRUTH TO EXPOSE, FOR JODI ARIAS WAS AS TRANSPARENT TO THOSE AROUND HER AS SHE IS TO YOU AND I TODAY!..

My question is what is it that Travis is referring to in those text exchanges when saying that she must immediately come clean or he will tell everyone all of the psycho things she's been up to.. what is it he is asking her to come clean about?.. this is what I was somewhat confused about in hearing/reading his text yesterday??
