Yes, the one and only Aaron

Maybe she didn't get the memo that he isn't her friend anymore.

Thank you!
How's that bus feel to you Jodi...:furious:

I know that guilt by association has its limits; however, I can't ignore the fact that at the time she murdered Travis Alexander, Jodi Arias's mentor was Gus Searcy.

Otherwise, I assure you, we would have never heard of this guy.

All we know Karmity is that Travis worked himself up from poverty, abuse, drug adiction, abandonment and everything else to owned his own home at age 26. He was successful. Guess you can say he did it all his way and didn't ask or need anyone to put him on his "career path". I dont know if you meant to be critical of his success but we simply dont have any credibale evidence thatTravis was "living large" as you say.

We don't know any such thing. There's been nothing about his actual upbringing other than his own accounts and, afaik, they've not been corroborated by his family members. I've been assuming his accounts to be true, but who knows. Personally, I don't think he was "successful." I think he was able to by a house in the insane 100% financing mortgage market here in that time frame, just like everyone else. But anyone slightly older knows that you couldn't get a mortgage on a commission-based job easily, if at all, prior to that time. That was for a reason. Imo, he was living well beyond his means and, for the reasons I mentioned, was headed for foreclosure, etc. in the near future -- as were MANY people in AZ at that time.

This is the same Aaron who was just on Dr. Drew and who the defendant mentioned in her testimony.

Her description is so freakin convoluted. I think she might have lost her case for self defense right then and there.

Basically she says he came out of the shower, and body slammed her. They both fell on the tiled floor, and she rolled over, stood up and ran down the hall, with him chasing behind. [ why didn't she have any bruises or injuries from him bodyslamming her to the tile floor?]

Ok...but then she had a choice of turning left and heading out of the bedroom and out of the home , or right , and running into his closet to get the gun.

So RIGHT THERE, she left her self defense claim on the trash heap. Because she chose to go to the closet and look for his gun, and then supposedly went into the bathroom and accidentally shot him. [ :liar:]

First of all, how would she be certain the gun was still there? Would she gamble her life on that decision? She decides not to run for freedom, but chooses to stay in his home, and look to see if his gun was still there?

But imo, there was not enough time for her to climb on a stool, find the gun, and get down, before he would have grabbed her. It was a small hallway, and he was only a few feet behind her. Where was he while she was climbing up in the closet shelves?

Makes ZERO sense, imo. :jail:

rbbm

That's it, katydid. Period.

Wrap it up & send it to Martinez.

Not to mention the fact that Travis's "career path" wasn't that much more stellar. I'd rather wait tables than run a ppl scam. Plus, I've mentioned before, in AZ during that time it was impossible to NOT get a mortgage and I think he was definitely headed for foreclosure and bankruptcy in the near future had she not killed him given the 100% financing, the re-fi with cash out and the declining RE market -- along with thousands of other 30-somethings living large at that time. They were basically equivalent in that department, imo. Now that I think about it, we don't know anything at all about what Travis did for income prior to PPL, do we?

And how is all this detail relevant to Travis being murdered?

So, she ran and got the gun, then went back in the bathroom towards Travis - rathe than away from him.

Absolutely laughable. Run out of the bedroom, down the stairs and out the door. Her stuff was already in the car (she says) so go! The naked Morman man isn't going to run out of his house naked to hurt you. What an insult to the jury to tell them such a tale.

What if.....

Travis had no idea Jodi returned.

Jodi plays out a 'rape' fantasy with the gun, photographing the surprise.

Travis was not amused and flew off hte handle (which he had every right since at that point, Jodi was an unwanted intruder)

------------

Jody has a tendency to include facts interspersed in her story telling. Early in testimony she expounded on the 'rape' fantasy. So did the attorney. Therefore, it was important to Jodi's theme.

When Jodi left the scene of her crime, she took with her the things she brought with her ..... the gun, ky, ROPE etc.

I have a few questions about todays testimony , was she in the closet when she shot Travis? If the bullet casing is near the sink , where is the closet door in relation to the sink? Other observations from experience of shooting handguns the bullet casing ejects backwards or to the right but that might depend on the gun.

IMO
No, she shot him when she was taking pictures of him in the shower. She got him vulnerable positions and then blasted him with first shot. Gun jammed then and she ran out to get knife.

I think the closet is out in the hall.

Yes, casing usually flies to the right of gun. It could bounce around because they do come out pretty fast.

You are using your old instinctual brain when you fight or flee. The thought process is that simple. You either fight, or you flee. Jodi wants us to believe she did both.

Jodi said she was stooped down next to the shower and dropped the camera, caught it on the way down, then lost it again and it hit the mat while rolling off onto the tile floor. If she were stooping what was she 2 foot from the mat. What kind of damage could she have done in such a short distance? I mean, really. Plus didn't she say she was taking the pictures from a couple of feet away. Aren't mats up against the shower tub for you to step out on? I would think Travis would want to see if there was damage to it first, unless he felt she did it deliberately. jmo

I wish I was sitting as the prosecution table. I would be feeding Mr. Juan all kinds of things for cross examination. He wouldn't need them of course, but still.... :rocker:

Chocolate covered strawberries? :)

I swear they all use us as a focus group and lurk here, gleaning our knowledge and use it as their own original thought. Just sayin. :moo:

I wouldn't be suprised. Btw, I'm pretty sure I heard NG ask viewers to email her show with any inconsistencies they've noticed during JA's direct...to help the PT whatever helps So many good minds here that catch JA's lies

Ok I'm home.

Gonna start posting my LENGTHY notes. I caught a glimpse of myself in court today and saw my head down...writing notes. When I was doing that I was mostly studying the jury.

First thing, the entire courtroom atmosphere changed today. The entire vibe was different in there today. More serious, more attentive, more intense.

I noticed that also w/ the jurors.

Ok to my notes:

First two jurors (the lady closest to her and man next to her) either look down or straight or at Nurmi. They NEVER look in her direction. Even at sidebars Juror 1 (just my numeration) looks toward the gallery.

All jurors sitting way back in their seats. Only women taking notes at first.

All of the males seem more stoic today, across the board.

During side bars she looks down, never toward her family. NONE of the jurors look at her during sidebars.

Nurmi leading AGAIN..."were you hoping he wasn't dead?".

Juror 2 face in his hand almost all day. Left hand, the hand toward her. When she cried once about this being a "nightmare" his face got beet red.

Energy in here so intense, you could hear a pin drop. (page one over).

My question is what is it that Travis is referring to in those text exchanges when saying that she must immediately come clean or he will tell everyone all of the psycho things she's been up to.. what is it he is asking her to come clean about?.. this is what I was somewhat confused about in hearing/reading his text yesterday??

TIA to anyone who can clarify:)

rsbm:

we don't know because they never provide the context. (re: messages sent before and after)

I bet we will know within the next two days of trial
