Who's to really say Madey...Love, obsession over a lover can do alot of different things to a person's mind

Look at Mindy McCready the singer. Her lover committed suicide, then about a month later she suicides and kills the family dog too?

People deep down, on the surface even, are fragile

His death has NOT been ruled a suicide by LE.

I'm curious.. Does anyone know any more info about the break in at the experts house? Was the lap top recovered? Did we determine this could cause any hiccups ie mistrial issues?

This is when I started crying too. Seeing T's sister cry broke my heart and made me want to reach through the computer and hug her. That or reach through and put a muzzle on that lying psycho JA! I closed my eyes and said a prayer for TA's family. No one should ever have to go through what they're going through. :(

To the very best of my ability I sat behind them sending loving warm thoughts in their direction. It was a grounding for me honestly. I don't know how well I was doing at it but it was a focal point and I'll carry that on tomorrow as best I can. Actually when the day started I consciously lthought about everyone here and tapped in to all of that loving and supportive energy and asked for it to course through me and to this family. As woo woo as that sounds, I do kind of know how to do this as it's part of my job. Being a conduit like that I mean.

I wondered who she was as I'd not seen her there before and she wasn't interacting w/ the family at all yet sitting in that area.

Then after court was over , JM walked over to our area and pointed directly at her and gestured for her to go to the end of the row then was close talking with her. I then noticed the resemblance and thought "that's his Mom!" (she's also very petite and was with a 20 something looking gal who was also very petite...a daughter? niece?).

If I sit near her tomorrow I'll ask her. ;)

Katiecool...it looked like Jodi wasn't turning to look at the jury with each and every answer today...either looking at Nurmi or looking down...

As long as they keep her away from the Advil, we're good.

Bwhahahahaha!

Darn Tapatalk--I wish I could remember the code for the little guy cracking up laughing. :roflmao: or something

Woah. i think her finger looks deformed in pretty much all of those takes and I think it is because her tendon was sliced while she was killing Travis. But boy-oh-boy was that a creepy compilation that shows her as the sociopath that she is!

moo

Her finger isn't bent in this photo. She's a professional scammer.

And if they were THAT close when she fired the gun, there would be evidence of a close shot, like stippling.

I'm prolly not the only person here who has fired a gun in the past week. They don't just "go off". And a .25 caliber is almost certainly a double action pull, which means a LONG, heavy pull of the trigger.

BBM

I think the body was so decomposed that it would be hard to tell if there was stippling or not. JMO

Anybody else thinking Jose Baez is at least smarter than Nurmi? At the very least he was smart enough to know better than to put his lying client on the stand. Both CA and JA are so confident in their lying that they honestly think everyone will believe them. Some say Casey Anthony is a better liar than JA, but I don't think so. CA's lies were also easily disproved. I often wonder if there would have been any different outcome if CA had testified. If seeing her in action would have woken the jurors up :dunno:.

The defense they chose to pursue in JA's trial amazes me. They really have nothing to back it up. Nothing. I agree with others here today that said today was the finish for Nurmi. He has done what he can for her, but she just keeps digging her hole deeper. It seemed to me that a LOT of her answers today were not what he was expecting. She's every defense lawyer's worst nightmare. A psychopathic, unpredictable, unfeeling, and obviously guilty, defendant. And Nurmi was no match for her. Juan will be her match though. I bet he has her ticket - written out and ready to deliver. :great:

I seem to recall a talking head saying that in order to sell the self defense story they'd have to get her on the stand. I don't think he had much choice. JMO

If a little too much Advil could kill you, I am pretty sure I'd be a goner already, because her testimony required 2 advils twice a trial day. Oh, and a Kahlua Coffee at the end.

When I worked at the hospital, IIRC, there were much, much higher doses of Ibuprofen given to patients than a couple of OTC pills.

She was mostly looking down. During EVERY sidebar, even the really long one, she looked down the entire time.

Hello to all, newbie here. I have been lurking for a few years and decided I had to join in (especially with this case) so I could hold rational conversations about this case. My DH lets me rant to him but he is not into true crime stories

No one throws away exculpatory evidence ... or burns it .... or forgets where they put it ....

Yes and i love the fact that, as someone here mentioned previously, cant remember who, it is her ring finger that was damaged by Travis

ETA: I do understand why her defense is doing what they're doing, but I think they could have picked a more believable strategy to work with. They really were not successful in making her a sympathetic figure. I think it did exactly the opposite. Maybe because she's driving the bus (that keeps driving over everyone she ever knew).

I think Baez was lazy and good at farming out the load to experts who could actually text him during trial. Nurmi at least has the confidence and ego and skills to do his own dirty work. (modded myself here)

Her blacking out, I knew that was coming. But buying a gun to be a responsible gun owner because you are going to pan for gold with FIVE men and being the only woman, after going through such a traumatic expierence, that is just CRAZY!!!

She is so nuts squirrels would run the other way.

:floorlaugh: That gold panning story was the wrong kind of story to tell as a reason to buy a gun after you killed your ex bf. Come on, how are jurors suppose to develop any sympathy for her! The lies were so insulting.

I predicted she would get on the stand because she is pathologically fearless, but I thought she'd be a better liar and tell a more convincing story. Her suicide stories with the advil and razor would make for a good SNL skit with a character like Jodi. Next, she could fling herself off two stair steps.

And exactly how far away is this desert she woke up in from TA's house? Noone noticed a bloody woman driving a white car. How did she not get any on the OUTSIDE of the car getting in if she had blood all over her hands?

There is no way IMHO, It's June..doesn't it stay light well into the evening?
