Jodi was asked by Nurmi if Travis had a gun on one of those endless days of her testimony and she said, NO I don't think so

Any idea when that was or better yet a link?

I know she was asked that in the press conference video I posted yesterday - but I must have had the dogs outside and missed her saying this on the stand. That would be perhaps her worse slip up on the stand and major, IMHO.

I agree 1000%....Prosecution has to go slow but really firm...Repeat the questions to make an impact..

I bet Arias will get amnesia about the murder itself when she went psycho killer...Just wait and see, I'll bet she has memory lapses

This prosecution team will probably never see a case like this again or a defendant like Arias...So let's not repeat the Casey Anthony trial ...Sometimes you gotta wonder if jury's can't convict OJ Simpson & Anthony, who will they convict?

Should we even have jurys anymore?...If Arias gets a light sentence, I give up all hope that a jury system is worth the trouble and the American judicial system needs to overhaul jurys being involved at all in trials

just want to apologize in advance of any off color jokes I may make today. I use humor as a coping mechanism and sometimes people take offense. Sometimes when faced with great horror I will make a joke to alleviate some stress. By reading here I think I have seen some like-minded individuals.

This "woman" went through a lot of trouble planning this murder, at least a week before it happened. She could even stomach having sex with the man she planned on killing (even wearing braids to help seduce him). Only a monster would be capable of such a thing. There's no way that Jodi feels any remorse. Like Travis told her, she's a sociopath and she cries only for herself.

the pictures always remind me how fast all this happened. ceiling shot, and one minute later, he's dead and being dragged. she was in a frenzy.

there's a longer time lapse between the dragging shot and the picture of him on that threshold than there is between the ceiling shot and the dragging shot. it took her LONGER to drag him down the hall and enter the bathroom than it did to kill him.

no time for all that tackling, slamming on the ground, running to the closet for the gun, etc. the timeline on those photos cooks her, IMO.

Yes, he needs to cross. He needs to bring the case back into clear focus and why the jury is really there. The Nurmi and Jodi show was a side event.

Just an observation from re-watching yesterday's testimony...

During Jodi's description of the events of June 4 she told a story of TA 'spinning her around' and basically raping her from behind. I believe that was in the morning testimony.

In the afternoon testimony the following exchange occurred beginning at 45:42 of the linked video:

N:Were you in a state of mind where you could have told Dt Flores everything? The sex, the lurid sexual interest, the lurid sexual behavior. Did you want to tell him about that?
A:No way, he's mormon, it's just all the more shameful.
N: What about Travis? Did you still want to protect him, his memory?
A: I was very concerned about both of our reputations and I didn't want to start throwing him under the bus, I didn't want to say negative things about him now because there were a lot of people already hurting and I didn't see what benefit it would be to talk about any of those things.
N: What do you mean what benefit? What benefit to whom?
A: To anybody, it would just cause more pain, um, it would just, there was no...I didn't see what benefit it would be to anybody to talk about these things now, I mean this is stuff that Travis didn't want anyone to know about, these are things I didn't want to tell anybody about. Um, I certainly didn't want to tell Dt. Flores about all the times that he was violent because then I thought that they would think that that would be motive and I didn't want...Travis and I were...I considered us friends and when he got that way he got that way and then we got over it and I didn't.....I wanted to portray the appearance that he and I were friends, which we were when we were getting along we were just fine and then....like that whole day was fineand then he just flipped.

Now, I would like to ask my fellow sleuthers...if you were raped from behind, would you categorize any portion of the day that happened to you to be 'fine'? She forgot her story for a brief moment. I hope Juan caught it.

Unfortunately yes there are a lot of them. Lots of them are in prison but not all become murderers. Many are highly successful and are CEOs of powerful companies. They get to the top because they have no empathy/sympathy for anyone and will trample anyone that stands in their way to get what they want.

Good morning! Just have to run this by you all.....I may have dreamed it! Didn't JA state that the last thing she remembers is the gun going off? Then she remembers nothing else until she "comes to" driving down the road with blood on her hands? I swear I heard her testify that she remembers putting the knife in the dishwasher. Did I just imagine that or was that a major slip up on her part? :waitasec:
