Totally hot button!! She will not verbally admit that the man ended the relationship she says ended mutally or it was not defined etc.

But the BIG TELL is the change in her facial expressions her forehead wrinkles up, has/almost rolled her eyes when said to her or smirks looking at Jury saying.. No he didn't end it with me.. He was sorry about what he did etc

Because really? What man would be silly enough to break it off with her.. She's beautiful a sex goddess etc etc. :what:

Great observations!
Hoping the men on the jury will have her number on this subject as she claimed Every guy She broke up with cheated on her and the cheating guy said he was Sorry for cheating.. :floorlaugh: yeah right such BS!
Reality is She hunted those guys down to get that sorry from them After she confronts the girls they cheated with; yep there was a pattern here..
Praying this Jury has that common sense to see Her for the psycho killer she is!

I too believe Juan will pull it all together. He went in a few directions I wasn't expecting and picked details I wouldn't expect him to pick to start with, but he obviously knows what he's doing and understands the big picture and all.

I think I'm used to prosecutors who first make big declarative statement/questions, for instance: "Ma'am you LIED and fabricated the story that you said you saw Mr. Alexander masturbating to pictures of little boys on Jan 21st...." and then when she denies it, start backing his way into the details to prove she couldn't be telling the truth because of the time of the calls, the time and content of the txt messages, the evidence not matching what she claimed, the mundane content of their dealings that day. The jury would know exactly where he was going right from the point of his first question on the topic instead of being on a meandering road that veers off in a few places, and he would have established his point right up front.

Instead he was off talking about what time she went to work and then he went off on a tangent about the exact hour she got to work and then he went into her non-memory of that exact time and then he went into cell phone vs landline and it just veered and it was difficult to follow.

It seems intentional. I also think he's letting her think she's under his skin. I believe he's playing the long game.

Don't worry, Juan will show the Liar every single horrific picture of Travis and make her choke one way or another.

I don't think the pictures bother her at all. I think she gets off on seeing her handiwork. In a big way.

I am a very big animal lover, that is my Chihuahua in my avatar, and her saying she shook like a Chihuahua is a huge insult to every Chihuahua out there. They have feelings, they show love, they show happiness, they show emotion, something that she is so incapable of.

Absolutely very unkind of her. She will never be capable of any of the emotions that those little dogs show.

Shana Hogan (author of upcoming book abt this case) said the magazines were brought into evidence at several hearings YEARS ago.
I do not see why the def. pretended not to know about them.
I guess it's all part of the show.

You know I was thinking about this... JA had another DP approved PD who withdrew from the case...

So.. Is it possible that KN & JW didn't realize the importance of the mags in Discovery docs?

I just don't think JA would say.. Hey guys.. those mags btw that's how I tried to send an encrypted message to my XBF to come forward with the "Confession Letters" from Travis that I forged. But that darn guard who forced me to do the Inside Edition interview caught me (so I'll fix her by saying she forced me to do interview). Soooo Yeah.. they may bring that up since you know they had a hearing about the forged letters and all.

Yeah NO she wasn't going to tell them anything she did wrong but all that everyone else under the sun from Nero forward did wrong their issues etc

OMG I have so much catching up to do now. I haven't even looked for katiecool's updates yet! :panic:.

Juan was incredible today I think. He's trying so hard to wipe away the horrible accusations that she made against Travis. It seems to be very important to him. He is definitely a wonderful advocate for the victim, and Travis' family. I think he's doing a terrific job despite Nurmi and his never ending objections.

I'm sorry, I know Nurmi is doing a job, but he is truly not likeable. Maybe one of the verified lawyers can chime in here because I'm sure no expert, but I think a good attorney needs to be able to connect with the jury on some level. If the jury members are anything like me, that's not happening. He comes across as pissy, he never showed any kind of connection to his client, and he bored everyone to tears. How is that effective in his line of work? And I won't even go into to his wardrobe malfunctions :giggle:. Maybe he should restrict himself to out of the public eye cases. Myself, I wouldn't want him defending me against a traffic ticket. But that's just me.

This woman sickens me much more than Casey Anthony. Her eyes are empty and flat like a reptile. FCA is a sociopath and narcissist, but I think we're getting a glimpse here of a true psychopath. She seems to be in a different league than FCA somehow, just creepier (Pensfan, can you weigh in on that?). She is really scary.

He did have roommates and Jodi said she asked Travis if anyone else was home to know if they needed to be quieter. That was her excuse anyway.
Travis's poor little dog, Napoleon. Jodi said he left the room when Travis was yelling at her. I bet he went and hid while his master was being killed. How many days did it take before Travis's body was found and how did Napoleon survive during that time and how confused and upset he must have been.

Napoleon was not in the bedroom during the sex, photos or murder. The gate was up keeping him from climbing the stairs and the bedroom door was shut. One of Travis' roomate's girlfriends feed Napoleon during the 5 days. They thought he was out of town.

Bumping this.

THANK YOU, for this great post KaRN-- I had not quite put all of the pieces together on Juan's strategy today-- especially how the witness tampering may have played into it. I didn't know about the hearing long ago about the inadmissibility of the pedophile allegations-- and now it all makes sense. (I haven't followed the case very long.)

BUT-- my question is, if the pedophile allegations were inadmissible, AND Juan didn't object-- did he risk a mistrial or something? Is the judge upset about this? Was he "required" to object??

I think it's a great strategy (not objecting), so that the prosecutor can bring in more evidence to dismantle her lies-- but I'm puzzled about how it's all going down. Was that legal/proper?

Same as the magazines and journals-- surely the defense knew about these?! I cannot believe Juan wouldn't have been above board about them. And yet, it sure seemed to me that the defense team acted as though they had never heard of the journals or magazines before Juan brought them out. That was very puzzling to me. Surely they would have objected if they were not listed in discovery? Did the defense team REALLY overlook them? (That boggles the mind, as related to the journals, especially.)

I admit I was a little confused for a while today as to where the ship was sailing -- and I just hope that the jury wasn't! I was pretty confused about the Donovan/ Campbell/ Matt connection-- hopefully Juan makes it VERY clear next week! I totally got the pattern of stalking and confrontations, possessiveness, lies, etc.

I think I see where Juan Martinez is going with all this-- and given another hour or 2 today, he would have connected all the dots. (Shame he didn't get to do that before the long trial break.)

It sure seemed to me like Nurmi was looking through those magazines like he didn't know what was up. I can't figure out how it would benefit the defense to pretend that they didn't know about the notes in the margins. They must have known they were evidence, or they would have objected to their inclusion. Can't figure that one out myself.

JM must have a witness, ie Matt, that he can call to substantiate some of his questions to JA today. Can't wait for next week:seeya::seeya:

That was after she told the prosecutor how his style was like Travis' and made her forget things.

Folks in court have said that people there gasped when she said that, so I wonder if her laughing was because she assumed they were gasping in a good way for her? She got a kick out of herself, regardless!

Well, I gasped when I heard that! And I'm pretty sure I heard all 850+ WSers on the thread gasp in unison, too.

Holey buckets-- that took BIG, SHINY BRASS BALLS for Jodi to do that. I am SOOOOOO glad the jury heard and saw it.

Wonder if any of THEM gasped?!

I feel so bad for both Travis and the dog. Dog's can feel death, so I'm sure Napoleon was wondering why nobody was helping his master. I can't believe that Jodi didn't at least make a call to 911 and say somebody needs help at the address. I hope the jury gives her the ultimate price just to send a message to the rest of these young girls that this behavior is not acceptable and needs to stop.

I've heard morticians (one of them being Ask A Mortician on YouTube) and people who work with the deceased attest that the smell of human decomposition is actually quite sweet, that once you smell it you will never forget it and always recognize it but it isn't what you would assume it is.

In college a realtor contacted me to clean a large house in the country. There was a very distinctive bad odor permeating the house that I had never smelled before. What the realtor failed to tell me was it was the scene of a murder-suicide and the elderly couple weren't found for almost 2 weeks! I wanted to quit but my husband said he would come help me because as struggling college students it paid well and we needed the money. Long story short the smell was so bad that even he couldn't stand it. We didn't finish the job and I will never forget that smell. I really can't describe it but I didn't consider it a sweet smell. I suppose each person's sense of smell would interpret it differently.

i don't know how the dt are going to try and damage control the lies that jm is exposing. when it's time for redirect how are they going to counter the facts that jm is providing with more lies? imo that will also be interesting to see. moo

Something tells me that the big bumbling oaf Nurmi may have missed it.

That's odd. Some NG commentator was on her show tonight stating she knew about the magazines for a couple of years because they were the subject of a motion some years back?

I too believe Juan will pull it all together. He went in a few directions I wasn't expecting and picked details I wouldn't expect him to pick to start with, but he obviously knows what he's doing and understands the big picture and all.

He is phenomenal. He jumps around to keep her off kilter. He uses almost no notes. He is incredible. Brilliant and killing her in cross. I love it!!!!!

I cannot understand why she did not call 911. She could have done it from a pay phone.

I find it really creepy and totally inappropriate that Jodi is smiling throughout her testimony about the witness tampering and stalking Bianca.

Same here, minor4th.

She thinks she's having a good time....winning every round.

She's actually filling out that scorecard using a pencil with disappearing lead.

And really who isn't going to say sorry when she's busting in on their date with a new woman fuming arguing in circles spin them round and round flashing a camera in their face unexpectedly & may or may not be wielding a knife from at the very least slashing tires out in the drive way..

I'm just sayin' I'd prolly say sorry too at that moment ;)

Maybe he has to go at it in this fashion because he knows his subject. jmo
I agree it seemed a little too picky about the times and such, but she didn't have any trouble remembering minute details on the direct. Could that be what he is trying to show?
