I saw zero fear in Jodi, no shaking ( I was looking forward to shaking) no tears, no meek, frightened bullied woman. I saw a confident arrogant psychopath.

Right, her memory loss if from stressful situations involving men yelling at her. But the fact that she wouldn't be in this position if she hadn't brutally killed Travis (who probably screamed while being stabbed) isn't a factor...

She sure did get confident today, didn't she? Creepy calm. No timid flower, no fear - a smug, arrogant irritating sneak (those magazine messages were priceless), who wouldn't answer a question - argued about the meaning of enjoy. I hope the jury sees her for what she is.

I was finding Juan Martinez a little hard to take at the beginning, but I'm really loving him now.

Ok, so can y'all help me list all the lies that were exposed today?

Here's what I remember:

1. Her finger wasn't really hurt by Travis
2. The "pedophile" confrontation really didn't happen on Jan 21 (didn't happen at all)
3. Travis wasn't barraging her with phone calls after on the alleged ped confrontation day
4. Exchanging cars didn't happen on the day she said it did
5. Matt was not really her boyfriend when she stalked his new girlfriend
6. She omitted information about her pre-murder trip through California -- she spent the night with Matt on June 2
7. She tried to influence witness testimony through coded messages, and apparently lied to her attorneys
8. She enjoyed the sex adventures, contrary to her prior testimony
9. She told her DV expert Travis was looking at pedo pics on the computer and changed her story after she found out there was no computer evidence

What else?

I wonder if JM has a very, very long list and if he will go home each night and check them off ...one by one.

Prove JA is a stalker...check

Prove JA tried to influence witness...check

IMO, Juan couldn't come at her in a linear fashion...he needed to keep her off balance. If she could follow where his questions were going, then she could come up with an answer.

Thank you for this explanation. I do agree that a lot of what Juan asked was doing this. Then he would throw in the critical question he really needed her to respond to and hope she wasnt catching on where he was heading.

i really don't like listening to the hired guns, but i think JM might have fun with the defense on that. i can see him turning around a lot of what they say and depicting TA as the abused one in this relationship.

IMO, there's a much better case to be made for that than what they're shoveling at us.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the thing with the hair & Matt is she stayed with him June 2-3rd. And her hair was BLONDE and she dyed it BROWN (at the "nail salon"). after she left Matts and before she went to kill Travis. Her hair is brown in the nude pics of her at Travis' the day she killed him:

Sounds like Matt, according to the coded messages Jodi wrote in the magazines, "effed up" what she has been saying for 2 years, that she had brown hair from the time she left California on her little trip.

IMO yes, you're correct and while some may say well, what's the biggie..doesn't mean anything that she did this...IMO its not JUST the fact that she did this..equally as important is the fact that she has purposefully hidden, concealed, and lied about her having done so...

this IMO makes it much more full of intent, meaning and therefor all the more damning ..

I'm having a hard time understanding why some think Juan was too hard on her. She murdered someone and it is his job to prove it was not in self defense. I think Jodi's behavior today made her look crazier than ever. She was as cold as she could possibly be. Her attorneys need to tell her to beef up her acting skills and at least try to show some emotion. There is no doubt in her mind she is going to walk. Yep, the should have gone the insanity route. Today she looked like a cold blooded killer.

If you are on trial for MURDER, then you shouldn't expect to be treated with kid gloves. She has lied over and over again to investigators and attorneys and judges and news reporters and boyfriends and her family. So the prosecutor has to come at her hard.

She is a 30 yr old woman. She is not a lost little girl, who was raised by wolves. She had a normal, standard dysfunctional family and a regular working class life. There is no reason to back off or go easy on her, because she might cry or be upset. Too freakin bad. That's what happens when you slit your ex boyfriend's throat out of rage.

Jodi testified that she felt wrong for lying and decided to come clean in 2010.

I think Juan is going to go through inconsequential lies one by one (which might be a while). Once he's torn down her credibility, he'll go into the day of the murder.

He started the whole thing off with hair colour- so it's obvious that he has some definitive proof that she died it at some point - either at Steve's ( some shady guy from her growing up restaurant days?) ; or Matt's; or a salon.....but Juan has some evidence.....no doubt IMO
Then the magazine coup!!!! Jodi doesn't know who found her juvenile code-could it be the officer?; the Sargent?;Scary Campbell lady?; Matt...Who?!!! Trying to play off it wasn't her is crazy and both she and Juan and her defence know this.
Then we have all these other subplots and plot twists ( her finger, child , text messages, Sex,lies videotape and tootsie rook pops!).....and the best part is she doesn't know all that Juan knows - it's a masterpiece being painted bit by little bit....Go Juan!!! Justice for Travis, all his loved ones and all of us who care....
