Here ya go! (It's about a minute before she cracks herself up but this way you get the full effect!)

AND objection, may we approach LoL. Juan Martinez has the patience of a saint I say. Several days of this back and forth with the lying b**** would give me a stroke.

Oh, and I have to say.....Detective Flores sits there all patient and benevolent every day in court. He looks like a big ole huggy teddy bear .

Just catching up with this today. Is the judge asleep? Why not make her answer? Her equivocations are absurd...when will she question the meaning of the word "is"?

Also, the prosecutor might do well to chill out a bit. He seems to take the bait on every bit of nonsense and semantics she throws out there. Must be a hard job regardless. This trial is so much more together and coherent than the FCA trial. Just amazing to see the difference.

I have asked myself the same question, why doesn't the judge tell her just to answer the question, yes or no. She seems to be mute.

I think Juan is doing an amazing job. Imo, he's just getting started and he shouldn't let her get away with anything, especially at first. For one thing, this arrogant psychopath needs to be knocked down a notch or two, she needs to learn who's in charge of the courtroom. Besides, trying to pander to a psychopath like her is like trying to reason with a snake, imo.

ITA.

Didn't she even say in the recorded interrogations with Flores that she had a "morbid curiosity" as she rather shamelessly kept asking when she could see the crime scene pics?

Sick, sick, sick.

She most certainly did! And the following day she just couldn't see them soon enough!!

I didn't see any of the trial today and tried to view it objectively tonight even though I'd read some of the comments throughout the day. I think the cross sucked, even accounting for my distaste for Juan. It sucked beyond my wildest expectations. I posted last night, I thought he would focus on the premeditation and proving her lies with the CLEAR and OBVIOUS recorded interviews. I'm mind blown and now understanding while he's still an ADA.

I tend to agree. The 10 minutes of pop-rocks and tootsie roll conversation made no sense to me and was just an absolute lead balloon. Not downing the guy, but man I hope he doesn't micro-focus this thing to death. I'd also fault the judge a bit for not cracking down on her nonsense/game playing. jmo

How about seeing her peeping into your windows (shudder)

Freaky! Her facial expressions today came across as completely abnormal at times.

gitana...congrats for a job well done!
A convicted felon...or someone who was jailed within a year of the intended visit...can't see a prisoner, correct?
Just trying to figure out how AC was able to visit Jodi. Something tells me that the there is more to this than meets the eye. Her visit would definitely be "noteworthy". She obviously knew what was coming. jmo

Ann Campbell was not in jail, her friend Donavan Bering was arrested for suspicion of arson.

Tootsie pops and pop rocks convo....wow...she is trying hard to manipulate that testimony...damn. Her real self is just downright...wow. So different than a man version of her...I wish I was taking abnormal psych right now in school, she would be very interesting to study.

I was once married to the male version of Jodi. They really are not very different except he did not manage to kill me although he gave it a good try.

The talking heads are idiots.

The caller that just called in said that Juan should have been even harder on Jodi. Callers like that are more like jurors than talking heads who never seem to call it right.

IMO

I agree, I haven't watched them now for several nights, and I'm much happier. :D

Wouldn't her lawyer tell her not to act like that, or does he hate her like everyone else.
Did he coach her to behave like someone who everyone will hate even more with that smug, I am better than thou attitude.

Sometimes the leopard cannot even pretend to change its spots. KWIM?

I was imagining the lawyers were going to try to help her with her demeanor this weekend and I was trying to imagine what leaning aids they were going to use - like maybe they have videos of women who have gotten off with self-defense? IDK

OMG, so I post on my Facebook page that I think Jodi Arias and Drew Peterson should get married. I'm thinking how many $$$ that would save the taxpayers. And my Facebook friends had no idea who Jodi Arias was. Jodi would be so upset. :great:

The best part is she thinks she won! She got him to change his tone and demeanor!!! Roflmao!

She's soooo inhuman and stupid it's laughable!

I've seen posters say it's similar, but I'm not seeing it. The defendant in that case victimized an incapacitated cancer victim whom she was in complete physical control of for a clear financial motive. Not an able bodied guy who was using her for sex and she with no obvious motive other than, possibly, jealousy. Worlds apart, imo
Possible jealousy??? This woman is an obsessive, jealous, rage-filled psychopath. Both women murdered their men. Both will end up on Death Row.

One things that bothers me is how she refers to Detective Flores simply as "Flores". But it does show her disdain and contempt for him (and authority and the law) so I hope the jurors catch that. I would have to call her to the carpet on that and make her refer to him as Detective Flores.

She said on the stand she didn't like it. Her journal says differently.

Oh I'm so sorry. Do you think Jodi was abused?

He is clearly just getting started. As stated before there are many ways to cross-examine someone, and just because a particular style isn't to someone's liking does not mean it isn't effective....it means you just don't like it. No one can make all the people happy all the time. What matters is what the jury sees. If he gets the job done, then really it does not matter in what order he presents things and in what manner he does it in.

It's been said over and over again, he has a very good track record of winning his cases, and he has successfully prosecuted a very similar case already, putting the woman behind bars forever with the needle as her eventual final punishment. So......he knows what he is doing. He has A LOT more material to cover and really...how can anyone judge from only ONE day how badly the state is doing? If anyone thinks they can do better then by all means get your JD and climb into the state attorney ranks.

I hear ya, my hairdresser said, Jody who?

Were Travis's sisters in court today?

She couldn't even answer questions about the time as she was staring straight at the times without hesitating and acting like she wasn't sure.

I don't know if Juan meant to expose that obnoxiously argumentative side of her or not, but it made her look very bad and not credible. It was like she wanted to lie about everything, even the time of a phone call that was staring her in the face.

And she kept asking which date. Which date?! It's the next effing phone entry 3 minutes after the one we just talked about, you bizarre and unstable freak! I know you want to lie about something right here, JA, but you'll get your chance in a second *rolls eyes*

I need to find the clip, but there's one point where she's being a smart @ss and says something about not throwing up in her car & it was so STUPID Juan even chuckled a bit! If you didn't see it, it's HILARIOUS - I'll try to find a link!! That was the ONLY time all day her jerkiness didn't make me furious!!
