I can't recall where she brought the knife from specifically, but I've always heard she brought it with her vs. getting it from his house.

I have heard just the opposite. I'm sure there are a lot of stories out there. I just wondered if you had a link.

Perhaps it was assumed because we know she brought the gun.

I'll bet Ryan is thankful she was arrested.

He really dodged a bullet...

....being stabbed and,,,

I don't see how this can be believed to be self-defense. This murder was brutal and JA's behavior is so calm and cold, she has a very obvious disconnect going on.

And she says, "No jury will convict me"?

Unless some "big Bombshell" drops, I would bet the jury isn't out more than 1 to 2 hours on this case. It's gonna be guilty and it's gonna be 1st degree murder. I would even be the jury wishes they could decide now and get it over with!

When and under what circumstances did she change her story and admit to doing the murder? tia

I believe the self defense theory was first presented by her attorneys.

Can't recall, but did Jodi hang out/date Ryan before visiting him in Utah after she killed Travis or was this the first time?

That's not what I asked.

I asked about psychopathy.

Oh sorry.

Maybe you are concerned it's less of a thing to be a narcissist?. In my city, we just had a warning put out for an animal killer who is both a narcissist and a psychopath (according to the bulletin put out by the criminal justice system). They are different in very subtle ways is my understanding. The psychopath seems to have a desire to use people for their own entertainment (this person took criminology courses to learn how to be more deviant), whereas the narcissist has more of an emotional stake in relationships.

Both can be lethal given the severity of the condition.

I could be wrong, I'll try to find a link or a document just so I'm not perpetuating lies on the thread. And I'd like to know for a fact, too! Give me a few minutes.

I think I'm so wrapped up in the battle of psychopathy vs. NPD vs. whatever else Jodi may have. I think the DSM IV has a diagnosis of "EVIL", if not we should all just settle on that!

The visit was the one and only time. It was the day after she killed Travis.

Does anyone know over what period of time did Jodi's stories change. I know the "I wasnt' there" story was shortly after Travis was found, but what about the "masked intruders" and the "I did it" stories. Were they all in 2008? Thanks

The waterfall pic of Travis and Jodi really bothers me. She is "adjusting" his head for the shot in a very controlling way. Grabbing someone by their chin to direct them points to aggressive behavior from my experience. It also looks like she has both hands around his throat. Sorry, I'm not able to post the pic, but hopefully you'll notice it when you see that pic.

He said this was his first date with her. She climbed on top and gave him 'dry sex' while they 'cuddled'

OMG, so she was not with him before and jumps on him in bed that soon. Sex addict, narcissist, murderer, liar, what else?

Insecurity may contribute to the development of shyness, paranoia and social withdrawal, or alternatively it may encourage compensatory behaviors such as arrogance, aggression, or bullying, in some cases. - from Wiki

I believe among MANY other issues, she was insecure...thus her need to manipulate TA with sex. She needed constant validation of her ego that she was pretty/sexy etc

Is every week Tues-Thursday or are they in court this Friday too?

After seeing those horribly graphic pictures of the damage done to Travis, she needs to be put to death so she can never do this again to some poor unsuspecting man. She is truly evil.

I could never be a defense attorney. How can they sit next to her knowing what her hands have done, what she is capable of?

I took care of a patient once in a long-term locked wing of an old, large, creepy state mental hospital. He chopped up his parents with an ax. I was assigned to do cut and paste crafts with him and a couple of other patients at a table in an open room at the end of the wing. Even though they were crayola plastic kids scissors, I was so unnerved. I think I peeled out of the parking lot at the end of the day, lol. Just being near him made my arm hairs stand up.

I know the one you mean. It looks like she's about to strangle him.

Not less. Different.

Now I am really done discussing it.

There are several pics in different places of Travis and Jodi together. My DD and I were wondering if he took her to those places or she just conveniently showed up, like maybe he was with other friends and she is suddenly with the group. A freak!
