The R is only rolled if there is more than one. Like Arriaga. Then, it's rolled. Also, the first syllable and last would sound the same. All "A"s are pronounced "ah". Never "uh".

Just in case anyone is interested!

Many Spanish speakers I know roll all R's, singular or plural. It's a minor thing, no biggie.

beats me! It would seem to me they are solidifying the fact that she was having relationships with multiple men at the same time and setting up an alibi

I hate to admit it but the upside down license makes a lot more sense with Jodie's explanation.

Why flip a license upside down, actually I could see someone do it in distress, trying to get pulled over, I am surprised she was not pulled over previously. A broken tail light, an upside down license plate, your likelihood of being puled over increases drastically.

Flipping a plate over is to confuse anyone who might see it, resulting in reporting an incorrect number. So, if anyone saw the car while she was there, they may not get the right number. B becomes an 8, M becomes a W, etc...
