Were there any other towels the same color as the ones in the wash, in TA's bath or linen closet? Does anyone have a photo to post of the linen closet contents?

Did you collect or check area of wall piece with the print . . . . for biological?

I did not do that . . . it was done somewhere else.

No further questions from counsel - 1 from the jury - counsel please approach.

Why was the towel not tested for bleaching . . . I don't know of a test . . . don't know the answer .

Was there a neck strap on the camera in the washing machine? Would it be possible to see the photo of the camera we have seen prior? Mr. Martinez?

Exhibit 11 & 12 &3 #14, #15, #16
It does not appear there is a strap on that camera.

is every inch of all surfaces tested for prints? No

WEre the walls dusted from floor to ceiling . . . no . . . examiners make a determination a wide swath of the wall was tested from knee to neck level . . . it is not feasabile to process every inch from floor to ceiling.

What type of key used to open bedroom door? don't know

Was knife used in the killing collected @ the scene? don't know - lots of knives collected frm the scene .

Another question - counsel please approach

How long will a print last on a surface if not washed or disturbed . . . possibly indefinately - there is no way to date a latent impression - you can date a certain item (ie: soda can dated) a window washed since the last washing . . . depending on the type of residue left - it can be a very long time.

If someone says I was there on 6/4 and I killed that individual - and I haven't been there be fore that . . or since . .. would you be able to date that info? I would not be able to date.
Object - overruled

On a soda can =- yes

repeat hypothetical - if they haven't been before for months and have not been there since but admitted they killed there on that date . . . i she had more info - she may be able to guess. . .

Exhibit #140 - latent impression #169A impression AD - chemical used for that may have been left in blood - it is possible to draw some conclusion . . . can't give dating of a print.

Objection - goes beyond scope of question - overruled

This particular chemical used to process wall because they saw great deal of red staining used this chemical with belief prints left with the chemical may have been left @ the time.

May step down.

Is it just me or do some of jury questions seems really ignorant?

I think the juror questions actually gives the State an idea of areas they need to discuss in more detail to clear things up for the jury.

i think the defense may try to discredit flores not sure why but thats what it sounds like the female defense attorney was trying to do with the ME

I think I recall the matching towel was still hanging on the towel rack in the bathroom.

If I put my hands on my face and neck as much as she does my face would be all broken out...yech

Thanks for all the welcomes, guys :)

I really liked the fingerprint lady. Great witness.

she tried ....:floorlaugh:

Det . Flores on the stand - conversations with JA - wanted to clarify their relationship. . . . 2 or 3 min break - stand and stretch

I actually take it that they are being really well thought out questions

Seems they would be patient enough for it come out if the knife was found at the scene. Like it is going to be entered into evidence if it was. Rushing things a bit. IMO

maybe you didn't know anyone in your life like this but many many many women enter into sexual relationships as sex buddies and tell their partner they do not care it's just sex when they really have feelings. if she was stalking him
and following him like has not been proven, he knew it wasn't just sex and he continued the relationship.

This defendant is not a teenage girl. This is a woman who prior to killing was in a relationship with another man for @ four years. No one is responsible for the level of honesty another person is capable of and if a woman deludes herself into acknowledging that a relationship is based strictly on being intimate without being romantic (JA's own words) while being emotionally invested in the man that is up to her. IT is NOT the man's fault.
