Yeah, but weren't we all kinda secretly hoping it sucked? Could be a nice little career for her if she is going to spend the rest of her life in prison :jail:

I was really curious. I consider myself an artist.

I wish I didn't look, I actually considered sending her something better than cardboard. Only for a few minutes, i swear! Talent like that....and her medium is cardboard? But...I'm over it now! Lol

I wonder when the prosecutor is going to play the taped phone message Jodi left on Travis's recorder several days after she killed him. I can imagine it going something like this...

'Hey handsome! I guess you are still away on your vacation, soaking up the rays and enjoying life. I miss ya. Call me when you get back! Love and kisses! Bye!!!' :P

Yeah that makes self defense ring sooooooooo true.

Maybe in closing.

Look @ the first one, the drawing of the hands, that's not easy to do.

Re: defensive wounds.

If she had defensive wounds then she would have made sure somebody saw them. She had a couple of bandaids on her fingers and she was wearing long sleeves when she met up with Burns twelve hours later.
Had she thought of the defensive wounds angle in 2008 she have have self inflicted some and then made sure they were seen.

Having said that...
Do we think Burns and JA were fully intimate that day or did they keep their clothes on and just "grind" as the prosecutor said.
JA may not have wanted to get naked with RB because then he may have seen what was on her arms that she may have been trying to hide.

Other things that make me go hmmmmm
She would have had to have a shower to wash blood off her and her clothes. She showed up at Burns' house presumably in clean clothes and washed hair etc.

Jodi was trying to *hide* her wounds when she visited Ryan Burns. That's why she 1) made up a story about her finger cuts, and 2) wore long sleeves in 100-degree weather.

This could help the defense's theory. Defense could say that hiding & lying about wounds is 100% consistent with a battered woman. Quite a whopper can be made up or suggested as a reason why Jodi felt compelled to hide something under her long sleeves.

The defense could lead an expert witness to say it is a common tactic of battered women to hide ugly bruises under long sleeves on a hot day.

I first looked at them on my phone. I thought the hands and the baby feet were black and white photographs. So I grabbed my ipad and was blown away.

Talent like that, and she wasted her time chasing men & ending up in jail for the rest of her life.

I think she had a sweet singing voice too. Such a Shame to waste it on her.

If I could sing....I would be singing all the time. Even my humming stinks.

I think everything I've seen done by her or about her stinks and I can't even force myself to think of her in a positive light. I guess that sounds like I'm not a very nice person, but even giving her an ounce of praise here on a forum that she will never see makes me sick to my stomach...:puke:

Many of you have been much more on top of this case than I have. Does anybody have a theory as to why she only shot him once? Seems to me (and I haven't as much info as you do) that she shot him and when that didn't kill him she resorted to stabbing, then slitting his throat.

I was wondering why she didn't fire a second or third shot before resorting to the knife. And did she bring the knife or was it something from the kitchen?

Anybody?

The defense could get several expert witnesses to say a number of things.

But, in the end, will the 12 people on the jury believe it?

Watching the highlights ... can you BELIEVE. She had the gall to call the sister and ask about the estate and her stupid car debt? Did you see the poor sister when they played that part? Uhg!

My understanding is she stabbed him first, repeatedly, that didnt work, so she slashed his throat, and THEN shot him.

Am I wrong?

You're right. That's what the ME said on the stand is most likely what happened.

I didn't see that as I was driving home during that time. What was her reaction?

Hi tis :) IMO, she probably didn't realize how loud the gun would be. Even a small gun make a lot of noise and she didn't want the neighbors to hear.

I do think she shot him last. jmo

Her mother is selling it because she had to quit her job to attend court every day and so now needs money.

OMG ... and ya know, there are "nut cases" out there that would probably buy it ...

OMG ... just unbelievable ...

IMO he wasn't dying fast enough for her. Or maybe it was overkill in the sense that she wanted to do whatever she possibly could to make him pay and make sure he was dead. Kinda like, "Take THAT!" even though she had already stabbed him and slit his throat.
