Murderabilia or not yet (hopefully soon) classified as murderabilia. Is she allowed to make money in this manner if convicted?

The Son of Sam law preventing criminals from profiting from their crimes was overturned as unconstitutional, so she can make money from it. That's why so many families of the victims also have a civil trial to get any profit the criminal may make. The Rocha family won a civil trial against Scott Peterson specifically for that purpose.

InSession is going over parts of the testimony this morning.

Disgusted by the recorded phone conversations between JA and Det. Flores.

JA is SO chipper- 'Oh, hey! How's it going?!'

How tf do you think it's going???

If it was my ex who I just discovered had been murdered days before, I would be weepy and horrified in those phone calls, even if i hated the guy!

Thanks for posting the link. That pic of Travis and Lisa on the dance floor is so precious. Sounds like they could have been a 'forever couple'. so sad.

It's so coincidental. I was just listening to "Live Like You Were Dying" last night on the radio. I was thinking about the lyrics. I'm glad Travis got to do some of the things he felt were necessary prior to dying.

That blog is important to read, especially for those who apparently believe arias' 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and bull story of being used and abused. This gal admits he wasn't perfect and that some of his qualities were not what she may want in a husband, but she states he was overall, a very good man and the only one she has loved thus far.

Usually after a trial is over if the jury speaks out we find out they picked up something important that we may have missed the significance of it at the time.

I have been a juror five times and if I was a juror sitting on this case the 'aha moment' for me yesterday would have been when Jodi revealed to Flores that Travis told her the best way to overcome her fears are to face them........i. e. buying a gun and knowing how to use it.

I would instantly think this does not support the self defense theory nor that Travis was an abuser. If Travis was truly THE abuser:rolleyes: the last thing in the world he would ever want is for his 'victim' to possess is a firearm. Abusers are cowards at heart anyway and always want their victims unarmed and defenseless. Just like she had Travis.

THAT was the big 'aha moment' to me and there are a lot of men on this jury too who I think picked up on that.

IMO

What an excellent observation. I hope the jury is as sharp as you.

I wanna know how it could have possibly been self defense given the location of the murder. Are we to believe she brought her camera, her purse containing the gun, and a knife into the bathroom? How did she have time to get locate and get to the murder weapons if she were being attacked by Travis?

Makes no logical sense.

Right. I hope the prosecution hammers this home. How does she just happen to have a gun and a knife in the bathroom with her as she is taking pictures of a naked, and defenseless Travis in the shower? It's such nonsense.

Where can I see these sketches?

I think she thought he'd drop dead like a sack of potatoes after the stab to the heart in the shower. I think she was furious he didn't die. She went into the die die die mode. Stabbing at his back while he stood at the sink. Maybe he was on all fours crawling as he weakened. He had the nerve to still be alive on that carpeted area, he had made it to tge end of that hallway, how dare he try to escape? So she slashes his throat and drags him back to HER intended murder location, the shower.

I totally agree with this. Except i think she may have felt some panic as well when he didn't die right away and began crawling for the door. Rage and panic. She had to make darn sure that he didn't survive and get her into trouble.

Thanks for letting us know about Jodi's artwork. I just found the art by Jodi Arias on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2048036.m570.l1313&_nkw=jodi+arias&_sacat=550&_from=R40

Jodi really is a good artist; it's impressive work. I've done paintings, drawings, etc. since I was a pre-teen, so I can tell you she has "it." She is sensitive and "loves" getting into the finest details of what she admires. She gets lost in recreating the beauty she identifies in her mind's eye.

Seeing her art, I'm now more convinced than EVER: Jodi is ADMIRING her bloody "masterpiece" when she sneaks peeks at those crime scene photos! It's sick, but true artists appreciate the aesthetics of the oddest things.

Like I said the other day, Jodi and Casey Anthony have a lot in common. They both have strong artistic / creative ability. They are both quite articulate. These are not dumb women.

But something about both of them let lust for a man with money and/or "the good life" completely lose it. Very sad, because both girls could have been so much more than *infamous* as ruthless murderers.

Hello everyone, I am just joining in and catching up on this trial this week, interesting case, lots to read. Seems like Jason Young has met his match, maybe they can become penpals. She's a yapper, I am so hoping she takes the stand.

Welcome to the thread, and here we go!
