I thought that was Flores who'd said that? Jodi had asked him what kind of gun he had. Course I had the world's worst migraine and could well be wrong. (I blame Jodi for said migraine too.)
yeah.. I am not sure! It is at the very beginning of part one that I posted... (I am currently watching part 2 and just getting to the NINJA part)

Good morning all.

I was thinking last night, if she called TA's phone at 1130 something that night, they have to have the location she made that call from. Her phone would have pinged a tower as soon as she turned it on. So.... how far/long did she get away from TA's house before she made that call? Where was she? We could probably figure out the exact times if we knew those and worked backwards.
JMO

I am drained after yesterday as well. I just dont get this woman. I thought CA was sick, I think CA found her match.
Im another one who said I wouldnt get invested in another case after CA, and look at me now. UGH! Oh well, Im in till the (guilty) verdict.

Off to get some work done (and catch up on yesterdays thread) before court starts.

The Verizon representative said her phone pinged just south of Nevada, I believe. It is part of the testimony yesterday afternoon. They know!

Agree, not even him yelling.

Iirc there was only one single thing that she said that's backed up by the evidence. That was "there was a lot of blood"

What type of gun did she have packed when they arrested her? 9mm?

She bought a gun. It was with her items in her car that she was packing up when arrested
.:seeya:

hahahaha.. most likely so that she could say: see my gun doesn't match the bullet...

she is her own worst enemy

I never heard that. So far to my knowledge we've heard:
- She's thought about buying a gun but doesn't have the money.
- She doesn't own a gun. Has never seen a gun. Has never fired a gun.
- Didn't know grandparents even had a gun until it was stolen.
- She didn't even know that guns existed!

(Okay. The last one I added. She might as well have said it though.)

ETA: I do seem to remember something about a 9mm though...hmm... let me go check it out.

Didn't she even say that the gun used looked like a toy gun?

I do believe that there were bits of truth mixed in with the "intruder" lies ... However , her saying Travis was shot first was a lie MOO....
... She was trying to explain away all of the evidence they had against her without having to actually be witness to Travis's death. She would have much more to explain if the " intruders " ran into the bathroom and started stabbing Travis first ....
Her just being there could explain the hair and the naked photos but she needed a reason why her palm print in his blood was on the hallway wall while still distancing herself from the actual stabbing. This is why she said she put her hand on Travis's back - remembering that when she stabbed him he had a lot of blood on his back ( but she didn't think how his back wouldn't be covered in blood if being shot was his only wound at the time and he was on his hands and knees... ) Then while she was in the hallway struggling with the female intruder she must have touched the wall so that would explain in her eyes the bloody palm print as well ..... I really think she thought some would believe her and she would get to go home . MOO ...

I like her earlier attempt to explain by stating she bathed his dog!

She truly is. I did love when the Dec. Kept telling her he was speaking for Travis

Jodi: What kind of gun is that? Just curious.
Flores: It's a glock.
Jodi: I just bought a gun.
Flores: Didja? We probably found it by now.
Jodi: Probably. (Something inaudible.)

Now...I hereby swear I am NOT going near the police interview again. Ever.

Hello Nurse,
This is OT, and you may or may not know the answer.
I have always wondered why we build new threads after the post count hits a certain number. I may be wrong, but I think the postings could probably handle maybe up to 999 posts per thread, if not more. I dont see how it is any more efficient to keep having new threads. So always wondered why this is done?

This has probably been answered somewhere, so sorry if this is covered somewhere. Thanks.l

I loved when the detective is begging her to tell a better story because hers was so freaking unbelievable! Lol. Please Jodi, tell me a story that makes sense! Make it believable this time.

Well we also know never to have fine China/glass around her. She does have that tendency to break them:waitasec:

It seems that there could be some truths in her police interview. It makes me wonder if, perhaps, he was shot first. She mentions how he was on all fours screaming, and holding his head. I tend to think she is describing the truth; she just tells it as a witness. JMO

Okay, now that sounds like a lie. How can one be on all fours screaming while holding his head. Think about it. She lies, makes it up as she is going along and that is why she is not consistent. Nothing she is saying makes sense. Bits and pieces, yes, but this statement makes no sense at all. jmo

In the earlier interview that was played yesterday did Jodi say she just bought a gun? (Right after she asked the detective what kind of gun he had?)

If so, that's so creepy. Other things she has said that I find particularly creepy: asking to see the photos and then asking again if she can see them soon; asking how many times Travis was stabbed; repeatedly saying "If I did it I would wear gloves" ...and "I have lots of them"; saying that she knows Travis is in a good place and that he's doing great.

It's weird that sociopaths have no idea how they are coming across to other people.

Like the poster above, I think she went there specifically with the intent to kill him because of all the planning and alibi preparation she did in advance -- in particular turning her cell phone off so she couldn't be tracked.

I think she killed him so she could "move on" with Ryan or whoever else came along. She knew she was obsessed and out of control, and she knew she wouldn't be able to let Travis go, so the only way in her mind to be able to finally end the relationship and her obsession with him was to kill him.

Yes. She did say she had bought a gun. The second Flores goes back into the interrogation room she asks:
JA: What kind of gun is that? Just curious.
Flores: A glock.
JA: I just bought a gun.
Flores: Did ya?
JA: Mhmm
Flores: We probably found it by now.
JA: Probably.

She's unbelievable.
