Just a side note about mormoms and drinking caffine, liquor. My hubby introduced his brother to the faith and he bacame a mormom priest he has a temple reccomend but what I find baffling is they dont all seem to have the same info regarding what Joseph Smith taught on these subjects.

My brother in law told me there was a " hot toddy" back in those days that Smith said to avoid obviously for health reasons and it would get you drunk. my hubby said it was all alcohol. My aunt a devout 80ish year old mormom said all caffinated drinks are what he said to avoid cause if your body is working correctly you dont need caffine and it is addicting.

I have to have a pot of coffee so im out forever doomed to live down the street from Jesus instead of in his house.

that was actually in the news recently - is says in their web site now its ok for them to drink caffeine because there was a big dust up during the election cuz romney was drinking a coke

This is what I think too - re the gurgling, twitching etc.

However, don't be embarrassed about the mouse. I love animals, but if a mouse is in my house, it's toast. Sorry.

Ha! I used to not want to kill the field mice that would come into the barn and get in the feed bins in winter. I would carefully scoop them up in a feed scoop and take them outside and release them, never considering they were probably back in the barn before I was!

not a nurse but its the normal body releasing whatever....my expereience is just being beside....

mainly it's gas---sometimes gurgling. sometimes they move or twitch too. it only happened to me once but it scared the pee outta me.

Believe it or not I have a lot of sympathy for AY. She was obviously mentally disturbed and not getting proper treatment. She thought she was saving her children, IIRC, by killing them.

I have no sympathy for someone who chases her 5 kids down one by one to drown them. JMO

Yea, you have a point, she needed help, but I just cant get beyond the chasing them around the house, youngest to oldest. :furious:

Oh, how I miss Court TV with the all day coverage.

I started this trial on trutv but as soon as they broke for a commercial DURING testimony I switched over to live streaming from then on.

but she was a recent convert....I found it surprising tha she kinda put down Ryan for not attending in over a year....baffling to me...took me longer to join a Baptist Church than her convert....However, have to say did shock the deacons when I said I admired Mormons due to how family oriented they are...think I almost lost membership for that comment.....opps.

Did you know the quickest way to get rid of people ringing your doorbell to convert you?

Tell them you are a druid or a Catholic. I think either is a lost cause to them.

Our cat bought a mouse into the house but thankfully my dad got hold of it before the cat could kill it.

It was a little baby field mouse, my dad named him Harvey, got him a cage and spent the next few years with his new best friend.

My dad is around 200LBS with white hair and a white beard, and in his elbow crease every evening was little Harvey who would curl up and sleep there. He would also sit on top of my dads thumb and clean himself. My dad used to talk to it when he thought he was alone. We used to stand outside the room and laugh . lol

that is something I noticed about them early on..whoever is in charge can set the tone or change the rules.. they vasilate to satisfy the current crowd something that never happens in a baptist church or most any other church to my knowledge.

That's what I tell them too, because I really am a Catholic. After I tell them I'm Catholic they go on their merry way very quickly.
