I'm worried that JA will be able to use this poor defense team as a reason to appeal the guilty verdict that I hope she receives. I'm hoping I'm wrong but it seems to me that they aren't doing a very good job!

They do not have much to work with. She was talking his ear off when she knows she did not have to. She wanted details and wanted to know what they had so she could perfect her story. jmo

There could be other business being transacted in relation to this trial, but not involving the jury - e.g. just discussions on specific upcoming testimony, resolving scheduling conflicts, even motions on other cases. So just because the coverage isn't on doesn't mean no work is being done.

When I was on a jury, we started at 10 or 10:30 every day, and the judge explained he had other matters to deal with in the interim. Even with a high profile case like this, there's other court business.

I'm curious - here in Calif this isn't getting any coverage outside of TruTV, NG, JVM and Dr Drew. I'm assuming it's getting a lot in Phoenix news, but I'm wondering about other cities.
