It almost seems to me that the jury is kind of buying into the theory of the defense that the police ONLY looked at Jodi and no other possible suspects in this murder. That's where I think these questions came from - kind of to prove that the police dismissed other people who could have been in or around the scene and just focused on Jodi. YIKES!! I hope that's not the view they are taking!

Did Jodi admit she killed Travis in self defense? I didn't think this case was about who did it, but what they had done, self-defense vs murder. Am I wrong here? Help

WOW so when TA's tires were slashed...Jen and TA heard a knock on the door, no one was there. That's when he saw the tires.

SO scary, couldn't even wait for him discover the damage on his own. Jhole must have had a sense of urgency, you know, like had to break up a possible make out session or something.

I'm surprised she didn't get violent at some point with Mimi or Jen.

Well, being a "TRUE PSYCHOPATH" she wanted to see his reaction when he saw his tires slashed. That's how they get their "rush".

Did I hear the defense tell the judge he didnt need help from the prosecutor? wow no love lost there

I don't understand why state doesn't want Lisa to testify ???

They don't want to enter evidence of stalking into the case for fear of verdict being overturned if they get a guilty.

I want to know who that guy was, that was with Jodi when she rented the car......

As for this mess of a trial, they had better not acquit JA, I remember when they set CA free, I watched the verdict (not the trial) and I was like :furious: for months after.

The guy with her (or driving in front of her) was her latest prey Ryan Burns.

Martinez also asked Burns if he recalled Arias being pulled over in Utah.

Burns said she was pulled over for having her rear license plate upside down. When Burns asked Arias about it, she told him kids had taken off her front license plate and must have turned her rear license plate upside down.

Did Mr. Alexander have a boarder in the house?
no just two roommates

were fingerprints of the border taken @ the scene?
yes

Interesting contradiction by the detective here...

Im not the least worried about these jury questions. I was on a death penalty case once and we were allowed to ask questions. The media tried to figure out which way we were leaning during the entire time the case was ongoing. LOL! We learned after the trial was over that the media thought we were leaning toward NG. We voted guilty due to the overwhelming evidence of guilt.

We had a couple of people that wanted to rule all possiblities out so that was why the media thought we were leaning toward not guilty.

These questions are good and the answers will set them at ease.....especially that no fingerprints of the roommates were found anywhere at the scene. They may have one or two on the panel asking these questions and they may not even wind up as jurors but alternates. It never means all jurors want to know these questions.

IMO

I agree - it just seemed that the jury was plugging a few holes in their minds, like, what were the roommates doing all that time. I know I've been wondering. Sometimes the attorneys are so close to the case, they can lose track of what they haven't explained, especially if it really isn't relevant to the evidence, like why the roomies were eliminated from suspicions.

I'm curious about the BMW - was that car at the house, or somewhere else, anyone know.

One last question: Who or what is a "Donovan"? I missed that, somehow, and I'm totally lost.

Hi, OceanBlueEyes. Exactly: Get the doubts and the questions out now.

It is humorous in a way because everytime a juror ask questions in a case then the THs and media become tealeave readers. :floorlaugh: Reminds me of the old Johnny Carson days.:floorlaugh:

imo

I am going to guess Lisa Andrews?

I saw an interview with some friend of Jodie's from Yreka, forget his name, and it was he who gave her a ride to Redding so she could rent the car. That's like 90 miles. Some generous friend! Anyway he's been on NG, JVM, and he's not part of the case apparently - just a pal who gave a friend a ride.

Just a guess, but I'm wondering if the P's hesitation stems from knowing what might happen on cross examination. DT would have a field day asking questions related to TA's "duplicity". On Lisa's blog, she wrote that thanks to her relationship with TA, she was able to pinpoint qualities she DIDN'T want in a partner. I'm sure DT would go in regarding what those qualities were.

Uh oh. Feed just had something on it, then it flashed off. I recommend everyone turn off the feed, or risk permanent retinal damage from visions of dirty bums dancing in your head.

I think they were trying to assist Flores. :D Like did ya look in the BMW for the knife and gun since Jodi had the BMW in her possession?

This PT is smart. I am wondering if he knew by deciding not to call the ex girlfriend the defense would want to. PT got on the record as to why he decided not to call her "he is afraid if there is a conviction an appeals judge could say it was inflammatory" If the defense insists on calling her and that same info comes out then it will be the defense's fault and maybe no appeal on that part.

  • #1,138
the defense has never implied anyone else was involved in this with her, have they?

Just want to say hello and thank you to all who post updates, pictures and opinions. I'm new here and hope to learn a lot from the experts here.

Let's just hope there is one super smart juror who realized they could pose questions in a way that the DT would find encouraging, so they'd stop trying for a mistrial.
