Not sure if this has been discussed yet but I'll throw it out there...

Does anyone think if TA had filed a restraining order that this would have turned out differently? Theres a big part of me that thinks JA was already to fixed on her dream to let a restraining order make a difference. I'm curious what you think...

I have contemplated that myself, and also the fact that he had his tires slashed and expressed concerns to friends about Jodi yet still maintained a sexual relaionship with her

I cannot recall where I read this (one of the update pages I was just reading) expects this trial to go into APRIL

Yeah, and that is just how long they EXPECT it to go. At this rate, it will last until summer!!!:banghead:

I have thought about the issue of a restraining order. Only in terms of it seems women take stalking, harassment seriously. I don't think men are as likely to go thru with it. They should. This case is an example. There are women out there who stalk and kill. IMO

She stuck with the ninja story until 2010 when she tried to admit the forged letters. Then she was stating it was self defense to her lawyers. She's never talked to LE about self defense.

Did you see the last TV interview JA gave? She deflected questions about what happened by saying something to the effect that it would all be explained, or all come out, at trial. She wasn't parroting the ninja story she had given LE. IMO this showed that the ninja story was out and another story was in the works.

I didn't say she talked to LE about this latest version of events.

In my experience, restraining orders only work on those that it scares. Other than that, they are ineffective. Sometimes it even makes the restrained person more intent, after all it's about power, fear, etc.
If someone is a nut restraining orders dont work. Imo

Yes and it may have given Travis the last push he needed to NOT see her anymore, as either party can get in legal trouble if they break the restraining order.

IMO he was torn because he didn't want a relationship with her but he enjoyed his friends with benifits, that lived another state. BTW not saying wrong for that.

Yep - after watching the 48 Hours "Picture Perfect" where JA said after she fled those naughty ninjas, jumped into her car and drove and drove until she ended up in the middle of the desert, I wondered if she buried the murder weapons in the middle of the desert?

Or she may have thrown that out there as a red herring. Look at the opposite? Deep water?

IMO it might have happened even sooner. Her rage would have been huge had a restraining order been granted.

Agree. It does give some documentation tho. Which isn't much help when the person ends up dead. Had Travis filed I wonder what the Defense would have come up with? (Not blaming Travis)

I have a quick creepy story about that new over pass road at the dam. This guy killed himself jummping off of it and when they went down to recover his body they found the skeleton of another guy a little ways away from him.

Yes there are a couple suicides a year at the dam and now that the bypass is there it continues to happen .

But do we know that is what Travis wanted and did, or is this what Jodi says? I'm not sure on this. Thanks

ETA: for a certain he wasn't answering her calls. Am wondering just how many of the 82,000 texts wee from Travis? Is it the defense trying to keep the text msgs out, claiming they weren't given the information? Dunno. Thanks
