I was thinking along the same lines. The photos taken of him posing in the shower (right before he is attacked) I heard that these photos were taken from the waist up so I don't know if any show his hands or if he was tied up at that point and finally broke free to get some defensive wounds on his hands but by that time too much damage had been done to the poor guy.

I'm thinking it was a post sex shower and when he was naked and vulnerable she struck.

Another similarity is that both Casey and Jodi can be marketed as gorgeous. They are young, thin, and like to party. That isn't to say that they are truly attractive women, but the media can "sell" that aspect to the American public without looking too outrageous. This is what I always say about media coverage: It's not what you are, but what you can be marketed as.

I really don't see anything attractive about Jodi-she has little piggy eyes, and a pig snout nose and a fat mouth. That, to me is not gorgeous, unless you are a male pig, maybe.

She could have taken the bulk of whatever was left of the tassels/ropes with her and destroyed it. Did it look to like the tassels were just wet or was that coagulated blood soaking them? That's what it looked like to me.

Sorry I missed the pics but I can understand why Jodie would want to get any pieces of this off of Travis's wrists since it might tie (sorry 'bout that) the crime back to his current, at times, kinky lover. If anybody has the pics can they be posted here?

Hello group -- I'm late to join you all here as I've lost track of time, JA did such a fantastic job of delaying her trial. I'm sure she'll put Travis' family and a dignified court through more tricks and antics but I'm glad things are finally underway. So overdue.

I believe so. Plus this happened in 2008 so it's been around. I haven't been following the case but I know I saw something on it quite some time ago, 48 Hours or another show similar. I looked on youtube but couldn't find anything, however I'm at work so I didn't look very hard.

A Mormon Bishop once told me that he and his wife had gone to their Bishop for pre-marital counseling. Their Bishop advised them to come back with a list of 100 different things they had done together (with dates/times and experiences) before he would give them his blessing to marry. The idea behind it was to have couple experience as many different situations in which a variety of emotions would be experienced and to see how they would interact or react to each other. The list started out very exciting but by the end of the list they were writing "changed a light bulb together", "made tuna sandwiches together" etc.

Maybe the 1000 places to see was a twist on this idea. Maybe their Bishop (or someone from their church) made a suggestion to them when they were first dating and JA felt threatened that Travis might be completing his list without her?

I believe it was a female friend. They had dated for a short time but decided it wouldn't work romantically. Correct me if I'm wrong, I've tried to absorb a lot of information in a short time today. And I'm old.

I really hate to be a P-i-t-a 'new-to-the-thread' poster, and I did try catching up with all of the posts (I swear!) so please excuse any repeat, ridiculous questions.

Thoughts on the Judge - fair, pro-prosecution or pro-defense in her rulings leading up to trial? I lost track of the case in the last couple of months when it was postponed in November. I read early in this thread someone commenting she has a small bladder - LOL ... that's gonna be annoying! Does the Judge admonish JA if she starts acting up with her dramatics?

Thoughts on the prosecutor and defense atty? Aggressive? Obnoxious? Passionate?


Does JA have one of those shock belts on? If she starts singing Christmas carols, I really hope they give her a jolt or two. Witch.
