the white t shirt and boxer were his " garments" Mormons wear them as a reminder of their faith. Alot of misconceptions are said about their under clothing that is all it is meant for, it is suppose to remind you to stay clean and seperate from the world.

I'm sure that I've missed some testimony and evidence along the way but I'm a bit confused at this point. I see no stab holes in the t-shirt but it apparently had blood on it. I've read somewhere that investigators think that he was shot last after all the stab wounds and slit throat. I was thinking that he was shot first so that she could stab and slit his throat while he was unable to fight her off. So, when was he stabbed? If there are no holes in his clothing? I guess maybe he was nude? and the clothes got all the blood on them because they were close by? I guess I'll wait until everything is summarized.

Did they state this just now? (I'm not listening too closely as I'm at work) I don't get it - don't a lot of men wear white t-shirts and boxers? What does that have to do with being Mormon?

(not being snarky, I'm sincerely curious)

I think the undies are called "magic underpants.":rocker:

Curious about the camera - I wonder why she didn't just take it with her and destroy it later? Why put it thru the laundry.

Not that I've planned or executed a murder before, but I would truly think that planning a murder and actually executing it would be two entirely different things. Even if a murder is planned, I would imagine that there would be a lot more to it than you see in the movies. I'm sure she was shocked by the amount of blood, etc. I think that it would be pretty messy and difficult to clean up, etc. I don't think that she could have anticipated what actually DID happen during the murder.

ITA and yet she is arrogant enough to think she did a good job, so much so that she thinks her everchanging stories "I have no idea what happened", "A couple of strangers did it", and "Oh yes, it was self-defense" will work for her.

She's so delusionally cocky to proclaim -years later- "No jury will ever convict ME!" while trying to manufacture evidence against Travis (the "pedo letters") that despite doing an awful job of cleaning up the crime scene, she's cool as a (nasty) cucumber as she goes on trial for murder.

Unbelievable.

He was naked in the shower. Maybe she used the discarded clothes to mop up the blood. She was taking pictures and dropped the camera which, according to her, made him mad enough to come after her so she had to defend herself.

It's going to be exciting here for a bit, watching her unpack that big huge bag of clothing and bed linens. Yawn...

I believe they are not "normal" underwear - they are made specifically for Mormons. I used to work with a Mormon man and I could always see his tee shirt under his shirt (sometimes it would go above his shirt collar). It seemed thicker than normal tees. Never saw his boxers. :great:

IIRC the picture of TA in the shower was taken minutes before the attack, so he most like was nude when killed. Perhaps she grabbed his shirt, etc. to clean up blood.

ETA: my2sense beat me to it! Great minds must think alike ;-)

I wondered the same thing. Why not take it and throw it in a dumpster or something? Apparently she didn't think a lot of this through very well.

I think she may have tied Travis up prior to stabbing and slitting his throat. But I think there may be blood transfer that happened when Jodie in her panic to dump all the linen in the laundry got the camera and who knows may be that t shirt in the pile as well?

Thank God that dog could run otherwise he might have gone through thru a wash and rinse cycle too.

Narcissism at its best.

no I just saw them and asked my hubby as he passed by and he said yes that is what they look like regular white underwear

Also camera related - why take pics in the first place? If we are assuming this was all premeditated....

Is it true he did not invite her that night to his home and she came unannounced? I thought I heard that yesterday and was surprised but not sure if I heard correctly.
