He wouldn't say exactly what the violations Peterson is accused of are, but he did say they came to light as a result of the state's ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Peterson's wife, Stacy Peterson. Peterson has been named a suspect in her disappearance.

McGury also said the incidents occurred over the past 12 months and were "severe internal violations of general orders."

McGury feels so strongly about the violations, he plans to present his findings to Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow for possible criminal prosecution.

O/T...My husband (Gawd bless his little pea-pickin' heart) asked me yesterday if Drew P. was related to Scott Peterson! I'm still LMAO! I told him no, not that I was aware of, but he said their stories sound so much the alike, he thought "just maybe they came from the same gene pool" OMG, I must have laughed for 45 minutes. The poor man knows how I follow true crime, but he really caught me off guard with that comment!

Wonderful news. I hope they nail him to the wall. It seems to me like DP has been guilty of impropriety for a long time and has never been held accountable for his actions.
