I don't think that he changed along the way, I believe that he just got more careless as time went on. It's jmho but it appears to me anyway that Elizabeth probably knew a whole lot more than we think and chose to sweep it under the rug to further 'their' political career. No disrespect to her intended..just what I believe happened. Perhaps maybe, this book coming out was the final straw that made her to decide to separate from him with a little dignity intact?

John Edwards is a of scumbags imo. Such a that I have a feeling that once EE is gone he may marry RH. How in the world can he ever expect his children understand that?!

Yikes, I missed this one. I taped 20/20 last night but haven't watched it yet. It's hard to imagine peeps having a discussion like the one eluded to above. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. JE sure sounds like a loving, compassionate person - NOT!

I did watch it. And I have to say I found Andrew and Cheri Young to be credible. Initially, the Youngs got played by John Edwards and ultimately John Edwards got played by Rielle Hunter. And Elizabeth and the kids got played as well.

I don't believe for a moment that she thought she couldn't get pregnant and then poof she just did. Nor do I believe she thought she had adequately destroyed that sex tape. I wouldn't be surprised if John didn't even know she was taping them. Interesting to me that John can completely be seen on tape (supposedly) yet you never see Rielle's face.

She just doesn't want the Youngs to cash in on the tape; she wants to do that.

believe, have you ever read anything about Rielle Hunter prior to this? If not, if you have time, google her. There are some juicy stories about her. Her father has a criminal history, I do believe.

I don't know if I'd say she had a "good job." I think the only real thing she has to her credit as a videographer is the work she did with Edwards on the campaign trail.

She is an ex girlfriend of Jay McInerny of Bright Lights Big City fame. He has some interesting things to say about her. She was quite the party girl in the 80s.

I believe they wanted to present Levi Johnston as a "fiancee" because that makes unwed teenage preggo daughter look better. I didn't believe it was going to work out, and I seriously doubt they believed it was going to work out. Levi looked like a deer in a headlight.

What concerns me is how he threw away the Youngs! John Edwards has contacts and could have gotten Andrew a job! I bet if he had helped Andrew the Youngs would not be in the financial situation they are and the book would not be necessary.

They watched him change from a humble appreciative person to somone who lost his conscience and became filled with his own gransoise self worth! My opinion he went from one of us to a self appointed King!

The Youngs thought they would go to Washington with John Edwards and have a job as one of his aides. No wonder Andrew is writing a book. John Edwards owes him. My impression of John Edwards is a very egotistical shallow user! My,my how quickly we forget our upbringing. He just opened the door with his self absorption, invited the Devil right in and let him take up residence.

I suspect there are other women out there they've just been paid off substantially.

If I were looking for a loyal confidant friend supporter I'd hire Andrew Young in a heartbeat and keep my promises.

I saw a bartender interviewed on tv that said Recently John came in several nights a week and kept hitting on her, when she turned him down he moved on to other women in the bar. It was a bar close to his Figure 8 island home off NC. :loser:

I frankly don't think he comes off smelling like a rose. How could Edwards offer him a job as his aid in Washington? Edwards didn't get to go to Washington himself.
