i heard on the local news here that the weapons & drug charges will be dropped....he had a permit for the gun & the pain med was a prescription with his name on it....

I always liked him too, although haven't heard much about him lately. I did hear an interview with Tracy Lawrence about a year ago. He was talking about John and said that he had been trying to get John to tour with him, but that John had gained a lot of weight and just didn't want to be out in public like that. Such a shame. I haven't seen a picture of John in a long time.
