Was it an actual news article or was it just a rumor someone posted?
I heard it over here to but I thought it was just a rumor.

If I remember right, someone posted it and also provided a link.

I must be completely losing my mind because I just searched for it here and couldn't find it. Then I did a google search and found nothing either.

I guess at this point I have to take back my statement that I read it here. I thought for SURE I read that---and not long ago (obviously, after Patsy's death).

Geeez, this is going to drive me bonkers....I'm going to try to dig a little deeper. Either that or get my head examined.

Not to mention several threads.
And I am sure several "merged threads".

My mother was watching a show... Nancy Crier maybe? And she told me they mentioned he had remarried. I told her that wasn't correct - I hadn't read that, but apparently it was mentioned a few times.

I also googled it and couldn't find anything, and did a forum search and couldn't find it either...

I may have missed this discussion when Patsy first died, but did anyone else think it was odd that Patsy died at her father's home and not the home where she lived with John & Burke? The talk of John already remarrying made me wonder if there were marital problems and maybe that's why she chose to die at her dad's house?

Maybe she didn't want another one of their homes to be where a family member died, though?

Does this sound very odd to anyone else? :waitasec: Is he setting up an excuse for a quick exit for some particular reason?

"Meanwhile, a family lawyer, Lin Wood, said JonBenet's father, John Ramsey, is outraged by the intense media attention to the case. Ramsey is said to be thinking of moving out of the country."

Outraged?? Yes, it sounds like a very odd reaction to me!!

If he played no part in the death or cover up of his daughter's death, shouldn't he be happy to think that finally her killer may have been caught?

Outraged? NO!

Happy to put up with the media in hopes of finally getting
justice for Jon Benet would make more sense.

I think it was because of family help in the last days and the fact that the Paugh's are older. So everyone was acqueising to their needs.Patsy was deferring to them to the end.

Well, my thought at the time was that for him to get remarried so quickly after Patsy's death, he HAD to have been dating the woman while Patsy was still alive.

Any ideas on how to get a definitive answer on his possible remarriage?

I'm with you! How does that make sense? The media coverage is because of JMK being arrested in Thailand. The recent media coverage hasn't been accusing Ramsey, but if he is "outraged" I'm sure the media will be more than happy to put him at the top of the suspect list once again! Yes, you'd think he would be happy that a resolution to his daughter's murder may be near.

Wherever it happened, if it happened, it would be public record. We could start with whatever county in GA in which they reside...anyone know?

Ok...that makes sense that her elderly parents would want her with them at that time. I just wondered at the time in June, and the business about JR possible remarrying made me wonder about it again...

I think he made his statement and why should he be happy with the media?
They have persecuted his family for years.

Maybe had they called to ask for a quote but to follow him while he takes his son to College? I don't really blame him for being mad at the media. They can be off chasing people Karr knows.

John moved to Michigan after Patsy's death.

Please do not publish anyone's address on the forum. It might be public knowledge, but if some nut reads here and then decides to go there and cause trouble, we don't want this forum being held "irresponsible".

This is the first paragraph from an article in the Traverse City (MI) paper. I noticed the picture of their house with the article is not the lake house Patsy had remodeled in Charlevoix. Maybe they bought another after the move to Michigan. The house in 1996 was a white gingerbread Victorian on Lake Charlevoix. This one is brick and stone and on a golf course. That said, this article makes no mention of a new wife. I do recall a TV news clip Friday that said John spends his days playing golf and playing with his grandchildren.

"CHARLEVOIX — John Ramsey backed his silver Audi out of his driveway early Thursday morning, shook his head at an approaching journalist and drove away."

Maybe he thought with Patsy gone, it would finally be over. Now, he sees, it never will be.

"Wood [said] he talked with Ramsey for an hour Friday night and his client said he was angrier over coverage this week than he has ever been."Kind of odd, since some of the past coverage was about him killing his daughter himself.

I think it says that a man is tired of the coverage, maybe he is grieving over his wife, doesnt like the fact his son cannot go to college without people following them. I also think he will forever grieve over JBR's death. That is just what I think it says. JMO

I agree with you 100%.

Well he wouldn't be happy with everything that happened in the past, and neither would I if I were innocent. He has made himself a public figure since the murder, however, and did run for an elected office. I did just hear on the news that the incident was regarding following him to enroll his son in college. So, in that instance, yes, the media perhaps went too far.
