John Ramsey moving/media -merged-

Floh, did LE actually know where JMK was in June? I understand his emails were masked but I am under the impression his whereabouts weren't known until the last few weeks. Correct me if that isn't accurate.

I cannot correct you as i'm not sure - so much information and disinformation flying round.

but i would say the Ramseys must have believed L.E. were closing in on the supposed confessor, name possible unknown, but they must have understood L.E. had the resources to trace where the emails were eminating from and therefore a possible arrest of the person was going to be underway.

I am finding what I am reading about Mr. Ramsey's reaction to the media attention intresting. I would have expected his reaction to be one of two ways, either he would be all over the media saying look we are innocent or saying nothing at all. The information from his attorney saying Mr. Ramsey is so upset he is thinking of moving out of the country stikes me as odd. Surley, John Ramsey can not be suprised by how the media is behaving. Hounding is son on the way to college is terrible, but unforunitly, under the cirumstances expected. threatening to move out of the country to get away from the media, but making a public announcment of this intended move is kind of counterproductive. I just think its odd.

Maybe he wants to leave because if there is a trial for Karr Mr. Ramsey may be called to testify. Go to another country where they can't extradite him? Maybe JR doesn't want to testify?

Just my little opinion:innocent:

I see a couple of ways to think about it:

If JR is innocent: He just wants some peace and quiet, his daughter was murdered, his wife has passed away recently, the past 10 years have been a literal media HELL for him and his family, on top of the agony of losing a child in such a horrific manner..etc...

If JR is guilty: well, all sorts of things spring to mind...if he knows the guy and is afraid Karr will implicate him, or maybe he thinks that renewed interest will shed some new light on the case possibly exposing his guilt.

Lin Wood saying John is thinking of leaving the country is just more RST spinning. John is loving this! All he wants is his "good name" back. The more the RST can place intruders in the news, the less guilty the Ramsey's seem.... except to those of us who know that Patsy is "good for it".

John Ramsey is probably getting ready to run for office again.

I hope this blows up in his face.

Huh. Getting ready to run for office and talking about leaving the country do not seem to intuitively go hand-in hand.

John's not going anywhere, at least not for long. This media circus is all RST driven and they knew exactly what would happen. This is a media feeding frenzy and a lot of really stupid people are going to think the Ramseys had nothing to do with their daughters death when this is over.

This is the final push in John's reclaiming his 'good name'.

Hmm, John and Patsy did not complain about the media coverage 10 years ago. Within days of their daughter's murder, they appeared on the Larry King Live show on CNN. Unasked! They, or was it Fleet, called CNN to say they were available to be on King's show.
The couple kept showing JonBenet's picture as if she was missing instead of dead. I still don't understand why they had to appear international tv so quickly.
