Poor baby... continued prayers for them all.
I wonder if they have regular/required tetanus shots over there. Seems like that might have prevented an infection.
I hope she can recover fully. That's so sad.
Yes, they do. All of Europe does.
In France they give them at 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 16-18 months and 6 years as a combined vaccination of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, and Haemophilus influenzae b. The booster at 6 years old is DTP only.
Tetanus vaccine coverage in France is 98%, versus 94% in the US.
Thanks, JanetElaine!
Tetanus doesn't seem like it would be one that parents would opt out on anyway.
I was hoping to confirm here what I heard on tv last night. I wasn't watching really, so I don't know what channel it was! Rats.
Anyway, I heard that his little girl was sick because of e-coli, not a rusty nail. (I thought that would be strange if her shots were up-to-date.)
I'll go google around and see what I can find.
LOLOLOL I just found the most incredible article about Johhn Depp and had to post it here because he talks about his precious little girl. She is well now and just like she used to be. If you are as passionate about him as am I, you will love this article. Enjoy:
