Jurors hear an audio recording, that Depp admits is his voice. Rottenborn then asks Depp if he felt insecure when Heard socialized with other people while he was away. Depp disagrees.
.......
Rottenborn then reads an excerpt from Depp's U.K. trial, in which Depp admits he "occasionally" feels insecure when Heard socializes with others.
.......
Jurors then hear an audio recording, in which Depp can be heard saying, "I become irrational when you're doing movies. I become jealous, f****** crazy, weird. We fight a lot more."

AH and her batch of immature hangers-on clearly liked his money.

as for the testimony being a surprise, all of it should be new to the Virginia jury, so yes, they have to have it all over again.

a large reason why I keep giving JD the benefit of the doubt is, chronic pain legitimately sucks. I’ve had varying stages of lumbago, sciatica and plantar faascitiis for about 15 years now, and it’s very frustrating when nothing is denting your chronic pain.

I just didn't know if this was all new info since they all kind of act surprised or unprepared that this was going to happen during this trial if it already came out in the last trial. If that makes sense.

Jurors are shown this photo, of Heard on the cover of People Magazine. Rottenborn says this photo was taken after an alleged headbutt, but Depp admits he does not know when it was taken.

.......
(On the alleged headbutt) Depp: I was trying to restrain Miss Heard, and once I had restrained her. If she's trying to still move around or kick at me ... It's not impossible for them to bump. But a headbutt? That's pretty extreme.

I understand. :D I just meant we wouldn’t necessarily be able to tell anything from their verbal delivery to the jury and witnesses either way, be it new or old information; because the jury wasn’t there in England, and also aren’t supposed to be doing any research on the participants, as per the judge daily warning.

attorneys often refer to trial as ‘theater’; and part of that theater is presenting some sort of cues to the jury, which may from time to time encompass such things as a chunk of feigned amazement for effect.

this is really getting boring....reminds me of the Jodi Arias trial...nothing but text messages. He is
officially impeached...we got it..Johnny trying to give his unique takes on straight up words is also
getting old

Jurors hear an audio recording, in which Depp references the headbutt. Depp: If you want to have a peaceful conversation with Miss Heard, you might have to placate just a little bit.

AUDIO RECORDING: #AmberHeard saying her friends and family have seen the bruises, broken blood vessels on her.

The courtroom is shown video of a fight between Depp and Heard. It sounds as if things are being thrown around or dropped. In the recording, Heard says, "You're smashing s****!" As it plays, Heard closes her eyes and looks down.
.......
Depp: Being illegally recorded by your chosen other is, well, it's quite fitting with the rest of the photographs ... She tried to hide it and then laughed and smiled at the end.

Depp: I did not try to intimidate Miss Heard ... If she was intimidated, why was she filming? If she was scared to death, why didn't she leave?

Jurors are shown a journal entry, written by Depp to Heard. It reads in part, "I will never allow myself to resort to such disgraceful and odious behavior... no matter what."

Seems like his anti defamation suit is just providing further opportunity to defame him more. Not getting the point here...and his attempts at humor which are laughed at by his fan club in court again not impressed.

I don't see this as being about the personal relationship of two hollywood types.

IMO, it's about implications for the media of the #MeToo movement. That was, originally, specifically about rape of under-privileged, unheard women, now it's morphed into being an excuse to publish in every media outlet, without question or proof, the allegations of attention-seeking starlets who bungled their starter marriage.

Audio is played of a recording, in which Depp can be heard saying, "You're a c*** and I f****** hate you and I want out." After that, another clip is played, with a gagging sound. Heard makes a disgusted face in reference to the sound.
.......
Remember: Depp testified he called Heard "Slim" and she called him "Steve," in response to a Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart movie. These texts are from Depp, saved in Heard's phone as "Steve."

This has been a serious bone of contention for me.

I've heard so many interviewers and celebrities say to the effect of "If they say it happened, it did".

I honestly can't understand that mentality. How are we expected to believe everyone? It doesn't make sense to me.

ETA: Actually I think what's worse is when the general public, in comments etc. take it as gospel. Heaven forbid anyone questions the allegations, the keyboard warriors come out en masse.
