Joining chat

Can someone please tell me how to join the online chat? I have used the directions posted in earlier threads and am having no luck. Thanks so much!!

I had trouble before but when I tried joining again today, it worked - give it another shot ...

I have troble too. I get to the Java page and it acts as if it is loading but that is as far as I get! And I have to clue what an MIRC is. I went to that site and it wanted money, so I'm assuming that I am not a "MIRC" user. Ugh!
