JonBenet Ramson letter - written before or after + linguistics

"We are familiar with countermeasures and tactics."

(That sounding not very female.)

I already posted that if it was SFF with three people, then it already had a budget that could've been bigger than 118K. IMO a ranking leftist wanted JBR for good. They had advance information, surveillance, and all that.

BTW, I was minding my own business reading this article when I got to the 'fat cat' part. I had not googled 'fat cat'. I had googled "Soviet Union, born of a dream, dies".
http://mises.org/story/3105

The present "capitalist revolution" in Russia was best described by Russian publicist Viktor Kopin: it is a "quasi-democratic society with a quasi-market of quasi-legality and quasi-morality. The predominant conclusion out of this is that freedom leads to the destruction of spirituality, crime, pauperization of the masses, and the emergence of a class of fat cats."

Just the other day, my husband...who is not from the Soviet Union, but rather born and raised here in the SOUTH, was watching an Auto Auction on tv. He said..several times...."Look at all of those "FAT CATS" bidding on those cars". Then later he said.."Those FAT CATS are the only people that can afford that car". All though the show...it was FAT CAT, FAT CAT, FAT CAT.....he totally got on my nerves, but that's another story. MY point is...people here in the US, use that term all of the time.

I don't know if I want to know b/c I was once a boy and not a girl, but um, is it possible, if these alleged facts about hymens are correct, that JB got them from another playmate playing doctor,
The version of "doctor" most little kids play consists of "I'll show you mine if you show me yours", not doing on full-on genitalia exam.
or masturbation or sticking things up there herself, or perhaps cleaning after some bm accident?
It is highly unlikely that JonBenet, at that age, would have even been aware she had a vagina.
Additionally, is it possible to establish how much back in time would result in these chronic inflammation, perhaps say 3 days back, when JB may have been with a hypothetical Santa Claus?
Now, with Christmas morning here, Santa had just one more thing to do before the little ones waiting on the third floor were allowed to rip into the picturesque setting. I slipped out to the garage and a quickly wheeled in a new bike for Patsy. (DOI, pp. 2-3 hb version)

John referred to himself as Santa here.

Yeah, and its really irrelevant. Even if the RN was written by a female doesn't necessarily mean the female was PR. I have a IDI scenario where the RN was written by a female.

Fair enough.

I sense RDI seems to be feeling a little defensive? What with even the tabs jumping ship?

Just funning, HOTYH. That's all

BTW, I guess you missed the fruit article on that December 25, 1991 NYT front page?

I guess I did, because I have no idea what you're talking about!

Just for laughs, what do you think of that coincidence?

Not much of anything, to be perfectly honest.

Too bad the RN author didn't just say 'fat cat' like you seem to be implying. Instead, the author elaborated on killing fat cats, expressed disrespect for this country, and brutally murdered a small child after threatening in writing to behead a small child. This, after introducting himself as 'representing' a foreign faction.

Why would PR 'represent' a small foreign faction anyway? Why wouldn't PR just claim to BE the foreign faction? What interest would a foreign faction have in fat cats when everybody here says fat cat? BTW I can go YEARS and not hear that expression. Now suddenly according to you its a HOUSEHOLD EXPRESSION! (LOL)

OK you dont think anything of coincidences anymore. I see.

The RN has leftist expressions, that according to FBI agent. JBR was murdered on the 5th anniversary of the fall of the Soviet Union. A big day for leftists everywhere. The coincidence is indisputable. The question is whether or not the coincidence is random.

  • #386
MY point is...people here in the US, use that term all of the time.

My point is... the expressions in the ransom note can be linked to contemporary (1996) usage in the former republics of the Soviet Union.
Fat cat plus 'not the country that it serves' plus "represent a small foreign faction' can be contemporaneously linked to this.

Fat cat on its own cannot. RDI used to claim it was some pet name for JR. I think you want to isolate fat cat and not look at any other expressions in the note, like wearing blinders. Like SD says, maybe you should look at the whole enchilada.

  • #387

What are you on about? Just because I don't think about something doesn't mean it doesn't happen. On the other hand, the way I figure it, I have good reason not to think much of this.

The RN has leftist expressions, that according to FBI agent.

If you want to talk about FBI agents in regard to this case, HOTYH, I'll accomodate you, no problem!

JBR was murdered on the 5th anniversary of the fall of the Soviet Union. A big day for leftists everywhere.

But wouldn't May Day make more sense? (I'm sure this is looking pretty obscure to some.)

The coincidence is indisputable. The question is whether or not the coincidence is random.

Fair enough.

Is that directed to Ames specifically, or can anyone answer?

(Incidentally, a while ago you said you were going to read some of Michael Kane's thoughts on this case. How did that go, anyway?)

I'm sure its looking pretty obscure to you too.

May Day is a good day, a day of celebration. Its bigger in Russia, but its celebrated here and many other countries as well.

The fall of the Soviet Union is probably a bad day, not celebrated, and a subject of angst for many people.

Apparently, one too many people.

It doesn't look like the word faction, to me. IMO, it looks more like factim- a possible blend of fact and victim.

We (I, the note writer and you John Ramsey, the note reader) are a group of individuals that represent (speak for) a small foreign factim (JonBenet was small, has a foreign-sounding name, and she's a victim and that's a fact.)

You perhaps don't understand what I mean. When I was a kid, May Day was the day the Soviets always trotted out their new weapons to show what bad-a**es they were. Even now, it's a day for political extremists to let their colors fly.

The fall of the Soviet Union is probably a bad day, not celebrated, and a subject of angst for many people.

Not THIS person!

Apparently, one too many people.

Uh-huh...

Are you calling me a liar??

I am just telling you what my husband kept saying while watching that show. The term "fat cat" , is a popular saying...it means...people with money. Just like a boss is referred to sometimes, as the "BIG CHEESE". Guess you have never heard THAT term before, either. I don't know if the term Fat cat is used only in the south or not...but, I have heard that term ALL of my life. And I was born and raised in SC...just as Patsy was raised in the south, as well. And I have never even been to the Soviet Union...nor do I have a desire to do so.

Holdon is too busy researching the significance of Dec. 25th, to waste his time on Michael Kane's thoughts. I am still waiting for Holdon to read J and P's interviews. Which, IMO...is a very nice place to start, if you are seriously wanting to research this case.

Hi Ames.

mmm ....
crickets

Ya, I had been thinking about pommegranits and oranges, how they often have mention in Decembers.

Hotyh is somewhat mistaken, imo, on the 'Fat Cats' issue. I've heard the phrase as well, once this month in conversation, said by a middle aged man. I've been cued to listen fot that catch phrase, so I'm sure it will pop up, now and again.

Hey hotyh.

I must admit the NY times pineapple connection is intruiging.
I've got a good imagination ...... and it is intruiging to think along those lines.

irrc the NYT/pineaplle/anniversary thingy has been floating around the web for a while.
Did you broach this topic in 95'?

Ya, for sure, if you were 'the type' to keep old newspapers, the headine making Fall of the Soviet Union would be a good one.

hmmm .... wonder if the Ramseys ever kept international newpapers, as JR was an international traveler.

Went right over some of the denser folks around here. I figure it was pure random coincidence, but somewhat startling, huh?

Its not just a coincidence of date. Its not just that JBR was murdered on the anniversary of the demise of the Soviet Union.

The actual coincidence is that JBR was apparently murdered by a disgruntled socialist on the 5th anniversary of an event that would seem to create disgruntled socialists. See what I mean?

There's many posters who claim to have the inside track on what happened, but its pretty plain from almost all news reports and recent LE statements that the theory on what happened is totally up for grabs.

RDI just isn't RDI anymore.

I have no idea what you mean by this question. Rephrase, maybe?

Ya, I get that point holdon, commemeration by a disgruntled socialist.

just that iirc, regarding the NYT pineapple story, it's been previously discussed online? no matter.

Are you calling me a liar??

If you go on a public website and claim a specific person killed their kid when you don't really know, then aren't you lying?

Thats the nice thing about IDI, you don't have to make such claims.

Crickets....I hear crickets.

I buy crickets.

Nope, we found it. And I still don't know what you mean by 'broaching this topic in 95'.
