Marc Klaas chats with Websleuths posters....

<Christine2448> *Ames* Mark, so in the Ramsey case, you believe there was no intruder?

<PollyDad> No intruder.
<PollyDad> Just the family.

---------------------------------------------

Marc Klaas if definately RDI!!!!

Sorry HOTYH, I have heard Mr. Klass express his opinion on the Ramsey case many times on various tv news programs (such as nancy Grace), but I will search for any links to provide proof.

Don't worry Beck...I blew that one out of the water for you....

Thanks, Ames. It seems like some folks don't realize that Marc Klaas is not exactly defending the R's when he talks about cooperating with LE from the first moment. He also brings this up in every interview concerning the Ramseys. His opinion is quite obvious.

Here is yet another instance of Klaas expressing doubt about the Ramseys actions:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0608/22/pzn.01.html
ZAHN: And you have watched almost every single piece of video that has come down, of him (JMK) in Thailand, his return home to the United States, what happened at his extradition hearing. As you see and watch what he's told investigators, do you think he had anything to do with the murder of JonBenet Ramsey?

KLAAS: He's an incredibly sick individual. He has a fascination with dead little girls. He may very well be -- and I think it's a wonderful thing that they are going to try to connect him to other cold cases.

But as far as this one, you know what? I really doubt it. I think there are still problems that existed at the beginning of this case that have never been adequately dealt with.

And quite frankly, listen, I believe the great lesson in the JonBenet Ramsey case is conduct. And I and Mark Lunsford and John Walsh and so many others have been faced with the same dilemma as the Ramseys were faced with. They were looked upon as prime suspects in their own children's situations. And all of us put the needs of our child's ahead of ourselves and we went through those incredibly difficult interrogation and those very scary polygraphs. But we were able to put all this stuff aside. We were able to get over those hurdles and then find some way to serve society in response. That never happened in the Ramsey case. And that's why so many questions continue to linger.

So, you know, this guy, did he do it? Maybe he did. If he did, this case is going to be finally finished. But, you know, thus far, everything is based on the speculation of a madman. And really I doubt he did anything.

Earlier in this same interview, Klaas said something else that's well worth pointing out:
KLAAS: Well before I get to that, I'd like to just briefly state that if in fact it turns out that John Karr wrote that ransom note, it would probably be the first time in history that a pedophile has ever written a ransom note.

Children are not kidnapped by pedophiles for ransom, they're kidnapped for sexual gratification.

So, like Beck said, Marc Klaas has said this kind of thing more than once at different times.

This seems like a more credible internet source. Klass does NOT point the finger, even seems willing to accept JMK as killer.

The pollydad source is not credible. Its a forum discussion and who knows maybe not Klass. It certainly reads differently than the CNN transcript.

Ames bailed you out? Not really. The internet 'conversation' isn't remotely as reliable a source as the CNN transcript, where Klass doesn't clearly point the finger of guilt for a child murder.

Sorry, but I dont know who pollydad is. Whoever it was seemed to point the finger of guilt to 'the family' as if it was a cooperative effort. This is arguable because LE can't put the paintbrush handle in any family member's hands, and in fact the mystery DNA mixed with blood suggests otherwise.

[<Christine2448> First, thank you very much for taking the time to be here.
I admire you for all your great work and am truly humbled by you being here.
I would like to know what you think of the Trenton Duckett case. Do you believe he is (as speculated/rumored) alive in Korea with family,or do you believe he was murdered at the hands of his mother or someone else?
Thank you again,
Donna
New Jersey

<PollyDad> I believe that he was murdered at the hands of his mother, and perhaps somebody else.

Has Mark heard any opinions from other LE agencies in the nation regarding Mary Lacy's recent "clearing" of the Ramseys based on the "touch" DNA?

<PollyDad> I think that she knew that she wasn't going to get away with. That's why she killed herself. I haven't heard anything from other LE agencies, but I think that Mary Lacy and everything that she believes is pure nonsense.
<PollyDad> She seems infatuated with JR.
<PollyDad> and he's just a snarky turd!

This is a copy-paste from these 'transcripts' and I dont get it. There's no sense to it. Did someone make a mistake when they copied these transcripts? Who is the snarky turd? Why would MK refer to someone as a snarky turd? And how can 'everything' someone believes be 'pure nonsense'. This doesn't sound rational to me, so maybe there has been some mistake pasting the dialogue?

This reads completely differently than the CNN transcripts. Different tone, content, everything.

Snipped:

<Tricia> On behalf of Websleuths and Forums for Justice Thank You so much. Christine is now going to post the questions Marc has already answered. This will be available on the forums later on.

Tricia herself introduced this "transcript." She is extremely careful when it comes to verification. Her voucher is good enough for me.

Its more than good enough for me too. I have seen and heard Marc's comments on Nancy Grace as well but won't spend my Sunday morning looking for them for HOTYH.

I knew that you would say that. There is really no hope for you....Tricia owns this website, she knows Marc Klaas, she was part of the interview...so...why are you on her site, if you don't trust her??? He talked about other cases...if you had bother to read the transcript. Sooo...you are saying now that TRICIA...the owner of this site...could have lied...and it wasn't really Klaas???? Give me a freakin' break....You wanted a source and I gave you one. When it didn't fit your intruder theory...you call it a fabrication...just like you ALWAYS do. I am not responding to your posts anymore. From now on...you are ignored. Tricia, if you are reading this...please respond to Holdon's claim that it may have not really been Marc Klaas...on the Websleuth chat that you had with him a couple of years ago.

HOTYH, the first reply from Marc was in reference to the question concerning Trenton Duckett. If you would like to authenticate Marc Klaas' presence in that chat you could always send Tricia a pm. I'm sure she would be happy to oblige.

Thanks. Thats why I asked if there was some mistake. Authentication would be nice.

<Tricia> LOL

I think I'll write a book...

I believe that Marc Klaas was saying that Mary Lacy seems infatuated with John Ramsey (JR) and that John Ramsey is a "snarky turd". I was confused at first and thought he was saying that Mary Lacy seemed infatuated with JonBenet (JR) but the next line "and he's" confirms that it was John he was talking about.

That is what is great about this forum. Usually, if you don't care for one source, there will be a second you prefer. I am happy you were satisfied with the second source.

Ames, thank you for the link to the transcript. Good reading!

Hey, are you saying I'm fickle? Picking and choosing only what I want to read? Dismissing stuff?

And how do we know that you aren't John Ramsey or Aunt Pam?

Well you are...seems like you haven't read all case material. How in the world could you come here and claim IDI when you haven't read any and all material related to this case. Seems like all you do is ask for sources...you are asked the same but never provide them.

Do not pick and choose what to read...READ EVERYTHING!
