A lot of people believe that if you are RDI, you automatically hate all things Ramsey. That's not true. I believe that Patsy loved JonBenet with every cell of her being, probably more than she had ever loved anyone else, as to her, JB was an extension of herself. A "perfect" Patsy to be molded into the perfect Miss America and be everything that Patsy was not. That right there was enough for JonBenet to need therapy, whether or not anybody recognized it.

If JBR was sent to a therapist because of Patsy's cancer, then why don't the Ramseys just say so? That's a perfectly legitimate reason for a child to be in therapy. By being secretive about the sessions, it sounds like there is something that they don't want to be revealed, either the initial reason for it or what JBR said during the sessions.

I agree, Eileen and also, this could one reason why Dr. Beuf locked her records away. There is something he was hiding for someone.

Still looking for the link about all the calls to the doctor that night. This is really upsetting me because I just read it the other day. No, I'm not THAT old!

So, if the bed wetting and counseling were occuring at the same time, (not knowing which occured first), then JonBenet may have experienced a trauma, longer that a few days prior to her death. Where was Papa Paugh when Patsy had cancer and her Mom was staying with the family?

That must have been a VERY difficult time for both children. I'm sure it was impossible for them to understand. Then, Patsy recovers, throws everything JonBenets direction, as in pageants, mother-daughter trips and lessons, time for costuming and ALL those professional picture shoots of JonBenet. Where does this leave Burke? Patsy complains about John traveling 'hither and yon' (I think that was the correct term), so who Mothered Burke?

Interesting that those calls were made on John's birthday!? I wonder what they did that day? Also interesting that she said "to his office or his home"? Why would she ever have reason to call him at his home and did he ever make house calls?

Must have been pretty close if she had the liberty to call him at home, plus remember, this is the doctor they called when JonBenet's body was found. The one they needed to calm Patsy down. Not Patsy's doctor, JonBenet's.

Yes, he was. He played golf with JR and they were members of the same club. To me, this "friendship" was the reason why he didn't look too closely at JB's many vaginal irritations.

I guess he was there, and gave Patsy some pretty hard narcotics from watching her on LKL...and maybe John too but he should have perscribed NON-LIP LICKING pills holly mon for John. Does anyone know, did Patsy even have her own doctor?

I am sure Patsy had her own oncologist and gynecologist, but JB's doctor is the one who administered to her after JB's death- and THAT is odd, family friend or not.

To me the pastor (and that reverend who wanted a lawyer second one fgs) and JB's doctor fall into the same category.(they both knew some stuff that is usually kept very private,secrets?)
why would THESE TWO be so stubborn and so secretive about everything?
