Is wife Lorena independently wealthy? If not how in the world could Jose buy a $670,000 waterfront home in a country-club community in 2007 when he still owed child support? (This was stated in the Sentinel article part 2)

Looks like he owes alot of money...now we know where that $200000 plus dollars went to..."casey's defense team". I can only hope he is commingling funds.

He just satisfied one of the judgments last week...on 04/29/09

I wonder if these new judgments have been passed along to the Bar Association. In some states, an attorney can be suspended for having judgments filed against him for financial irresponsibility.

I do not know what the rules are in Florida, although after reading about Baez's difficulties in trying to pass their stringent guidelines, I can only presume that the Florida Bar Association would not look too highly on his continued thumbing of the nose at his fiscal responsibilities.

I supplied new links in post #211. Regarding his wife.....she was born in Columbia - if that means anything to anyone.

Right, he can do it because he has no strength of character or moral fiber but who in their right mind would give him a mortgage for a $670K house, that's probably like a $6000 - $7000/month payment including taxes & insurance plus PMI unless he had the 20% down payment of $134,000. It must have come from wifey #2.

Respectfully snipped. A simple assault charge and he later starts a non-profit for Domestic Violence victims. He doesn't pay child support, fails to provide HEALTH INSURANCE for his only daughter and starts a non-profit called 'Miracles for Children"...the absolute gall astonishes me.
