Police Looking For Missing Young Democrats Of Maryland President Joseph Kitchen

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Police in a Maryland county have asked for the public’s help in locating the president of the Young Democrats of Maryland, who has been missing for over a week.

Joseph Kitchen, 34, was last seen Aug. 8 at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Kitchen, who is from Prince George’s County, also owns a Dodge Charger with Virginia plates, police said in a social media post Saturday.

MISSING: Please help us locate 34 y/o Joseph Kitchen. Last seen 8/8/20 at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis. He is 5’ & 200 lbs. He owns a 2014 Silver Dodge Charger with VA tag VTU150. Pls call detectives at 301-772-4911 if located. Pls R/T. pic.twitter.com/MrD1a6vwFN

The Young Democrats’ group, which is open to registered Democrats who are less than 36 years old, also posted a missing person flyer that seeks information about Kitchen for his parents and brother.

It looks like his IG has the most recent post as being 7 days ago, which woulds have been the 9th as well. It talks about a scandal with the HS Democrats and a lot of other stuff, but it ends this way: "Enough is enough. Tomorrow I am addressing it on my Facebook and I invite you to join me. I'm naming names and calling for solutions."

Something that bothers me about this case. He was missing for a week but his family said he was found dead in his apartment? Was that not the first place they checked? Police didn't get the complex to let them in to check considering he had announced publicly he was going to be active and people were looking for him but he was nowhere to be found? I find that suspicious. Also, he was last seen on the 8th (multiple MSM's say this) but he was active on social media on the 9th. So, what was going on to make the family think this last seen date was important enough to keep insisting on it. They have to know he was active online unless they don't follow him politically or socially. Something stinks about this one and I feel like we're going to get a 'no foul play suspected' statement any day now.
