Joseph Scott Morgan, Death Investigator, Ask Me Anything May 7th @8:00 PM Eastern

Thoughts on the potential serial killer in the northeastern US? Is it just a media spectacle or is there something more to it?

I would like to hear JSM's thoughts on a case out of Georgia. Not interested in the corrupt firefighter aspect, he's just a bad actor driven by a lack of morals. To my knowledge, he is not suspected of being involved with the deaths of Qaadir & Naazir. Below is a brief description of the case. More detailed news links are also provided.

===============================================================

The recent investigation into the deaths of Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, twin brothers found dead on Bell Mountain in Georgia, has led to the arrest of a volunteer firefighter for taking photos of the scene. While the Georgia Bureau of Investigation initially classified the deaths as a murder-suicide, the twins' family and friends dispute this, stating the twins were not known to visit or even be familiar with the area. Further forensic tests are needed to determine the final cause of death, says the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Couple other questions:
What indicators at a death scene most often get overlooked by less experienced investigators?
Have you ever disagreed with an official ruling on cause or manner of death? What happened?
Has any case ever made you feel afraid or personally threatened?
How do you handle being around so much trauma and grief on a daily basis?
and finally...
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing instead?
