Josh allegedly visits strip club after wife disappearance?

I'd totally believe this. Josh is a control freak, and control freaks get very frustrated, it wouldn't surprise me if he went there as an outlet to his frustrations, mental and physical.

The people that think they 'knew' Josh will find they didn't know him at all.

If this story is true, then I'd agree there's speed involved, and not so much on the highway.

Susan might have caught a glimpse of a computer screen or looked at some cookies she wasn't supposed to while he was out sledding. I'm sure her job was constantly adding to her computer skills so they would eventually surpass his.

I find that a little hard to believe, to be honest. I don't know how much he knows about computers. But I've seen the websites he builds, and - well, the guy has mad, crazy skills.

Nothing about J impresses me, so I'm not bowled over by any of his "skills". But, I'll probably agree with you that you have something there in the range of mad and crazy (although I'd probably add methodical and conniving.)

The knowledge a person has concerning computer programming simply cannot be judged by their grasp of the English language depicted in their writing skills nor can it be evaluated by simply viewing a website the person has designed. A person who knows how to write computer programs cannot illustrate their talents or knowledge by designing a web site because they have nothing to do with each other.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. There was a discussion a couple months ago, making fun of his websites - specifically how they look like they time traveled here from about 1995.

I have a friend who was off learning how to send pictures of "himself" while his wife was learning how to eradicate the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 cookies he was leaving on the computer. That ended up in divorce court.

I do think a guy like Josh is too arrogant to think it could happen, that Susan could actually become computer savvy, too.

"The alleged appearance at the club happened the afternoon of Dec. 7, when police were still looking for Susan, Josh and their two children. They had been reported missing that morning after a day care provider grew concerned because the children had not been dropped off on schedule. Josh showed up to his home with the kids between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. that evening."

"The man strip club employees identified as Powell came in around 2 p.m. wearing a hat. He ordered two beers and a shot and left after about an hour-and-a-half to two hours."
I am assuming a now intoxicated Josh, who was too afraid to answer his phone earlier, finally decides to answer it and, after hearing the police are at his house waiting for him, does drive around trying to get up the courage to go home and hoping the effects of the alcohol will wear off. He could have simply parked or could have actually been driving around.

"Bartender Liz Burkholder, who later identified Powell in several photos from police, says the man tried to make advances toward her, take her picture -- a no-no in strip clubs -- and then was rude and vulgar when she declined." This is why they took his cell phone away!

Tim Peterson told the Deseret that he tried several times to contact Josh Powell on the 7th, and when he finally made contact, Joshua did not seem concerned about his wife’s whereabouts. It took him approximately 2 hours to return home and when asked where he was he stated that he was ‘driving around West Valley City.

FACT: We do know Josh Powell spoke to Tim Peterson on the phone about 2 hours before going home.
FACT: We do know Josh Powell was doing something during those two hours
FACT: We do know Josh Powell claimed he was just driving around West Valley City

FACT: The bartender stated Josh arrived at the bar at 2:00 PM
FACT: Josh Powell arrived home between 5:00 and 6:00 PM
FACT: A minimum of three hours transpired between 2:00 and when Josh arrived home.

If Tim Peterson is right about how long it took Josh to arrive home, and Josh was really at the bar, this phone call would have taken place between 3:00 and 4:00 PM.

If Josh stayed at the bar for 1 1/2 hours, he would have left at 3:30
If Josh stayed at the bar for two hours, he would have left at 4:00

I am guessing Josh left the bar at 3:30 and answered his ringing cell phone while walking to his car which would have brought him home at 5:30

If he did get a picture taken before they took his phone away, I think the police would have that since they have his phone. Even if he erased it, I would think they could recover it. Wouldn't that be interesting?

It would have only taken him 15-20 minutes to drive home though.

I expect that the only response we'll receive from Josh about this is a slander lawsuit.

Maybe. But I don't think he has the $$$ to pay. And he's such an unsympathetic character that I think his chances of finding an attorney who would take his case pro bono are pretty low.

Truth is a defense for slander.

As morally averse to strip clubs as I am :innocent: I'll do it. Just raise the money for an all expense paid trip to Washington for me and I honestly think I could draw it out of him.

Why is this guy still walking among us?
Isn't there enough to arrest him just for child endangerment???
I hope some stripper takes his pix in a club........PROOF!!!

It probably wouldn't work. Very hard to prove, and very expensive to, ummmm, mount.

If there were as many people in there as supposedly there were, you'd think a lot of people would be able to identify him. I just about always use my debit card when I go places. A strip club may be different because you want a lot of dollar bills, ummm...I've been told. :blushing: You'd think though that they would be able to trace that or see if he took money out that day before he allegedly went there.

Hey Hockey Fan! The article said he didn't leave a tip. Whether for the drink or the peek.....THAT would sound like Josh, but I don't think this report holds water. Something to stuff in the back of the mind for now, anyway.

Old Rangers, Islanders & Flyer's fan.

I suspect he will feel an overpowering need to vent somehow. Perhaps he will add to the http://susanpowell.org site. I bet he is hopping mad right now!

I think Josh found the world of meth and strippers.

If he was a regular user of meth, that could explain an outburst of uncontrollable anger/rage. (He did work at a trucking company & truckers are known for meth and uppers.) Not accusing anyone. JMO As far as the stripper, I can see an 18 yr old girl 'fascinated' with an 'older' BSer like Josh, but have a hard time picturing a street savvy stripper falling for it----unless the tips were REALLY good....and reportedly they were not. I just have a hard time thinking anyone would be interested in a whiny, mouth breather. Ewww.
