FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- Fayetteville residents voted for a proposed civil rights ordinance Tuesday (Sept. 8), according to results from the Washington County Election Commission.

Ordinance 5781 passed with 7,666 (53%) votes to 6,860 (47%).

The ordinance will extended anti-discrimination protections to the LGBT community in matters of employment, housing and public services.

That department and Arkansas State Police child welfare investigations are exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

So, in other words, Amy had a wedding typical of many normal celebrations - a beautiful wedding dress, food, drink, music and dancing - and the quiverfolk had to run away in order to protect their virtue. Way to go Duggars, I guess to you it's just another example of that nasty defraudin' secular world. That's so sad.

Shouldn't everyone learn how to have self control no matter what the circumstance?

Regardless of how much you may try to shelter your children, when they grow up and leave the nest, should they not be educated on different aspects that they are going to face in the world around them?

How will they survive in society if they are not prepared?

If you teach you child that normal instincts are so forbidden and sinful, will they not want to let loose once they are free from the nest?

imo all the duggar kids are victims in the sense they were raised in a very abnormal and frankly unhealthy dysfunctional environment. However, molestation of minors and family members and being a public liar is different. He's a wacko. Sexual deviant. As for any kind of therapy to cure his sick character? Ask any psychiatrist - he can't be cured. imo we will eventually hear some similar discoveries abt jb. and md, cut that damn hair and stop being such a poor role model to your daughters who surely believe woman are subserviant to men. It is written by a woman who was a quivering wife--and her struggle to get free is pretty real. She wasn't held by whips and chains but by her own internalized beliefs. JMO Jim Bob & Michelle were in a hurry to get Josh married off. They thought he needed a wife to sate his sexual appetite. I remember getting this eerie vibe while watching Josh & Anna's relationship on the show. It was very hurried to say the least. Again, JMO.
