I'm guessing she didn't get that televised TV birth special she wanted???If anyone's interested
Looks Like Jessa had a baby boy. I wonder if they'll name him after hubby Benjamin, and daddy Duggars middle name Robert.
Benjamin Robert, and call him Ben-Bob :giggle:

I can't believe it, but I wish they HAD named him that.
Spurgeon Elliot Seewald
What was wrong with Charles Elliot? :sigh:

If you look up that name in the Urban Dictionary, well let's just say his parents will wish they could change the birth certificate now. :facepalm:Spurgeon Seewald? I mean...
That kid never had much of a chance for normalcy. What tiny chance he had, was pretty much shot with that name. Poor little guy.
Agreed. Why not name the baby Charles instead if they want to honour this famous preacher? This Spurgeon character was also a rabid anti-Catholic so there's that to. :facepalm:Oh my. I know it's supposed to be after Charles Spurgeon, but that is a hideous first name. Why.

Oh, it's not so bad -- it can be shortened as a nickname to the mellifluous "Spurge".
Blech. It sounds like an amalgam of words referring to, erm, a certain male body fluid. Poor kiddo.
Yeah my friend's 13 year old son immediately came up with "Spurgeon the Virgin", though in that circle I guess it wouldn't be much of a jab, at least until marriage.Well, Spurgeon will probably not face ridicule for his name as long as he stays in the family circle. My 13-year old great nephew came up with a lot of not-very-nice nicknames in 10 seconds.
Parents need to be knowledgeable about what can happen with a name.

''A plane carrying Jim Bob Duggar, one of his sons and two unidentified passengers were spotted at an airport in Rockford, Illinois on Thursday, near where Josh Duggar was in treatment at a faith-based rehab center'''
Headline on the video says " josh leaves treatment'' ? Why would daddy duggar want him OUT of treatment when he needs it so badly and it's faith based and all that jazz?
Maybe he was asked to leave? Not responding to treatment?
It could be -- but I don't actually think that the people running that 'rehab center' would be able to tell, one way or another. It offers no legitimate treatment whatsoever, and the people running it have no expertise at all. It's basically a place where they pray and do free construction work for the center's owners. It's a sham. Mind you, it's possible that he was booted for a variety of reasons, like refusing to do the construction work he was assigned, or being disruptive, or what not.
My theory is that JBD has prepared a statement for JD to read at a press conference which will distance him from the family and clear the path to more bigoted religious zealotry on television via a renewed 35 Kids and Counting series.
Yeah, it will be something like that. Also, the whole point of the 'therapy' was to enable Jim Bob to say "well, at least we tried -- it's in God's hands now", or something to that effect.
