Yeah, but why didn't the warehouse have windows? There has to be a reason there weren't any windows.

To prevent CPS , reporters, or anyone else to see that Josh and family were living there ?
Or was it to prevent the dad from having to pay $$ on another family residing there ; so that the dad's taxes wouldn't increase ?
There could be many other reasons-- that's just two.
I've felt in the past and maybe also the current times that the family patriarch is very protective of the now- adult children.
This can be a good thing, or maybe not ?

I believe he avoids compliance issues with this by having Josh and Anna list their address as being the big house, so even though they just live on the property they are considered to live in the house. That is the only way I can think of that he avoids issues with the warehouse safety because there has never been proof that it is a safe living situation.

Yeah, but Josh has been in the background, his wife, Anna Duggar, and his children have been on "Counting On". It is almost at the point of being ridiculous, they are filming the program, and Josh is "there", but literally "hiding" behind someone.

Oh, it's way past ridiculous, IMO. TLC profited off this family and likely knew some things weren't on the up and up and still kept going. They have carefully edited the shows to maximize the "reality" the Duggars wanted to show. They are just as responsible for enabling Josh as his parents are, again IMO.

But he wasn’t arrested or charged with sex crimes. Right or wrong, Anna apparently believed he was reformed. So he wasn’t breaking a law by being there. IMO.

He had not been charged with a crime. He was not labeled a sex offender. What was to prevent him from living there, legally? IMO

In PA, you can not homeschool if a sex offender lives in the home, I believe you can’t homeschool if anyone has been charged with a felony as well, it may be in the last five years. (I homeschool in PA, but don’t pay close attention to the wording because it doesn’t apply to me.)

Is Josh Duggar a convicted sex offender? I thought he got off scot free.

He was not convicted of a crime. Legally he was allowed to live there.

Not trying to speak over anyone, but for me, it's more about Arkansas state homeschooling laws allowing children to be homeschooled in a home with an RSO in general rather than anything to do with Josh Duggar specifically. I think most people would argue that children shouldn't be allowed to be homeschooled in a home where an RSO lives (or live in a home with one at all) rather than just having "individualized guidance" to "deal with it". IMO.

I would think a barn/warehouse would be taxed at a lot lower rate than a second dwelling. Isn't there another son and his family living in another house on the property with a view of the big house? Maybe the tax assessor needs to pay a visit?

There is no question that a RSO should not live with or be in a home with children. I wish he had been charged with a crime when he violated his siblings and another girl. Things would have turned out differently for all involved. It seems very unfair. Maybe he felt he could get away with whatever he wanted because he had many enablers around him. JMO
