Does a person have to pay for accessing this kind of devil's work? Where would Josh be getting the money to participate?

Both I and the poster I was replying to were giving the specifics of WHAT child sexual exploitation involves.

I'm not a promoter of torture or illegal acts, so I will not state what I've learned about where and how it's " found". Some sub-specialties, which are too explicit to mention do cost a great deal due to the nature of the crime against the child or children involved.
Some CSE files are free to download if a person gets into a major distributor's mailing list. It varies widely. The images are sent, sent, and resent worldwide. Quite a lot of the children still being viewed are adults now, and more would be if they'd survived.

I can tell you that because one of the main uses is to support the infiltration of foreign terrorist cells into many countries ( CSE goes worldwide). there may not be a charge to download and view X amount of images, especially IF there is an embedded solicitation to join the specific terrorist group.

Bottom line: Since the files for CSE have more than one illegal use, and are so numerous, it's doubtful any internet image costs anything now, but there might be a requirement to " share" X number of images. File- sharing is what keeps the ringleaders from being caught and arrested ( Plus they may live in a lawless area of the world regarding the rights of children and women, generally speaking. Likely, most people know what areas of the world this definition encompasses).

Wouldnt she be eligible for a single parent benefit and rental assistance? Seven children should attract a good amount.

Assets can be a factor, if she owns property of any value or stocks and bonds, that can cut into benefits or make her ineligible

I feel certain it isn’t free. Just like the Ashley Madison site he belonged to wasn’t free. If he used a credit card or Pay Pal or some other method that would be traceable and I hope that was part of the investigation.

The 'free' sites are usually, 'you show me yours, I'll show you mine', in that they have to upload their own images of sexual abuse.

It is more serious but as of now, I’m only seeing a charge of receiving and possessing, but I think it can change to manufacturing even if you upload someone else’s content and send it out to other people.

Manufacturing or Creating Child is the criminal act of creating images or videos depicting children in a sexual manner, without clothing or engaged in sexual conduct. Of all the Child Offenses, Manufacturing or Creating Child
is considered the most serious.

Maybe they’re already drawing benefits? Now they don’t have a house. Do they have a car? They may be indigent and eligible for assistance.

Anna Duggar looks perfectly healthy to me. Two weeks of training, she could be a Certified Nurse Assistant. Perfect job for a devout Christian woman. Her children could attend school while she works, or maybe her Mother in Law could watch her kids.

Pregnancy is not physically incapacitating for most women. Seems like she could get a job if her husband or his family can't support her.

I don't understand people who would rather take charity than work.

But many serious cases we see start with minor-ish charges and balloon as time goes by. I have a feeling a lot more is going on here than the first round of charges. It sounds like they’ve been developing this case for a couple of years. I’m thinking That’s plenty of time to have a very big case in the wings. Maybe a conspiracy? Foreign honeypot (though I doubt Josh has access to state secrets....)?

I don't believe that he is Q. He is just another pervert who lives in the Philippines and is probably part of this subject.

You can own a car, but two cars can make you ineligible in some states, every state is different, it’s federal money but states decide how it’s distributed.
If Anna has investment property in an LLC in her name, I doubt any state will give benefits while she is accruing equity towards a big pay off at sale.

They had a house but they sold it. Then, Jim Bob bought a house and sold it to an LLC in Anna's name. Then Anna put it on the market for WAY more than the purchase price.(snipped)

I was on this blog that discusses fundamental Christians like the Duggars and how dangerous the belief system is. One of the women on it (she gives her name) explains what it's like to be submersed in that type of upbringing and how damaging it is, especially for women. She is a victim of Bill Gothard. She is writing in response to the negative comments people have toward Anna and asks everyone to share her posts. It's a real eye opener.

I think pregnant with six children is a good reason. I am not American. We do not see supporting women like Anna, as charity. It is the safety net that allows exploited people like her to escape their situation and allow them to live their lives out of danger.

She has 6 kids, several very little. Many people don’t have the option of working rather than getting charity relief. Wages are so low, they won’t cover expenses for one child, let alone several. And although pregnancy might not be incapacitating for most women, getting hired while obviously pregnant would be a stretch.
Getting pregnant with a 7th if you’re on benefits is hard to me to feel compassion for. However, not every pregnancy is conceived in an act of free will, so maybe there’s some latitude here.
More than anything else, I hope CPS is involved ASAP.

Ya know, this Josh reminds me of the Canadian Josh who coerced his wife to head into Taliban territory, and then repeatedly assaulted and degraded her when they were “prisoners”. She had several babies during that time. This Josh was a very murky character, too. They even look similar, which is why I thought to compare them.

OT. Sex trafficking children to western men is a big problem all over South Asia due to the juxtaposition of extreme poverty to western tourism wealth.
I live in a small, remote, fishing village in Bali so I don’t see it but I know it’s in our cities.
It’s still hidden in Bali’s cities unlike places like Bangkok and Manila where you can’t walk down the street without seeing it, it’s in your face.
The old western grandpa looking dude with a legal 18 year old Asian wife is everywhere though, even in my little remote village.

Kind of random. But relevant, I think.

I was a teen IIRC when I had a conversation with my mom. I don't remember what sparked it. But I remember her saying she said she just couldn't understand a woman who stayed with a husband who sexually abused their daughter.

What I do remember clear as day is her saying, "If I found out your daddy was doing that to you, I would kill him."

My mother is 5 foot 2 and has never even swung a punch at anyone insofar as I know. Yet she was vehement.
