Now that I look at it closely, what are those other pieces of electronic equipment on the desk? Is there a second modem? There’s some kind of electronic box on the desk, and there’s a flattish piece of hardware on the wall.
And there’s a second modem against the window next to the big black one?

Good eye! I thought they were discarded equipment but do see that one has a white cord hooked to it. There is a very long power strip on the back ledge that has some things plugged in. I was trying to figure out the two cute speaker looking things - one white and one black.

What’s that electronic item on a bracket attached to the wall?
The big black thing in the window is definitely a large capacity modem (it looks new, too; not grubby or dusty). But behind it, slap up against the glass, there’s a white box that looks like a modem, too.

Could it be a physical firewall? Ours at work is
Mounted like that but I can’t see enough detail to tell for sure.

Are you talking about the black item on a bracket that looks like a miniature robot with ears? If so, there is another one (white) like it just below the glass window. It looks like it is a ball that can rotate between the two ears. I was wondering if they were speakers or fans or small a/c's?
I looked back at the picture again and read this.

'His office was a tiny 10ft by 8ft cabin containing a desk, chair and an array of electronic devices including a CCTV system, printer, several webcams and a tangle of wires'

Now I wonder if the cute things bracketed in are actually webcams or are they part of the CCTV system?

I think the printer is up high on desk in the corner by the window with a shade pulled down. There is a roll of paper towels standing up on the desk. There are also some very large looking speakers there too.

I don't see a white box by the big black modem but do see what looks like a cardboard sign up against the window. See where the right upper corner is bent over.

I looked up what a physical firewall is and with all the slots in a row, it looks like what I was thinking the modem was. It's the big black box standing up on the open window sill.

I also looked up what a CCTV system looks like and it has a flat panel screen with separate cameras. I think the cute looking things bracketed in are the cameras.

It looks like the computer tower is on the floor to the left of the desk. It has a receipt book on top of it.

Paper towels on the computer desk. So telling.

That white ball is a webcam, I think, like an eye.

Josh prolly had surveillance all over his office in case anyone went snooping and found his child assault videos. There doesn’t look to be anything to steal, so, yep, protecting his illegal activity.
Now that I think of it, for sure he would have presented evidence at trial if he had video of someone snooping as he claimed. So, they had to go with electronic snooping.
Now that I think some more, maybe Josh never anticipated that his activity could be monitored by anyone except his wife, i.e. via computer. He probably thought the only risk was someone actually snooping in his office?
That office seems like it belongs to someone who totally doesn’t understand stuff.

I want to figure out what that flat panel is, on the bracket on the wall under the window. Did you think a speaker?

That’s a modem on the window sill AFAIK. I have a small version of it. But maybe some modems have built-in physical firewalls?

I decided the monitor is actually an all-in-one.
The router is hung on the wall near the modem. You can see the antennae.
Yep, correct that window thing on the window side of the modem is a sign.

The prosecution responded to the Josh Duggar defense team's request for an acquittal or new trial with a 30 page motion today, requesting that all of the defense's requests be denied.

Prosecution responds to Josh Duggar defense team's request for new trial

UNITED STATES’ RESPONSE IN OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR JUDGMENT OF ACQUITTAL OR NEW TRIAL:

The notion that Caleb Williams committed these offenses is pure fiction—a story
advanced by the defense for the sole purpose of casting blame, regardless of evidence to the contrary, on a sex offender. Yet the defendant now claims he is entitled to a new trial because the Court precluded him from calling Mr. Williams as an alternative-perpetrator witness. A review of the record reveals the opposite: the Court allowed the defendant to call Mr. Williams to develop this theory but simply limited his ability to introduce evidence of Mr. Williams’s prior sex offense pursuant to the Federal Rules of Evidence.

Court documents detail how Josh Duggar molestation allegations first came to light

A federal judge gave a detailed history of Josh Duggar's alleged molestation of his sisters this week, recounting how Duggar's conduct was largely kept as a family secret until it inadvertently slipped out through the daughter of a family friend years later.

Judge Timothy Brooks, who also oversaw Duggar's child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 trial last year, described the details in a ruling on Wednesday dismissing a lawsuit from four of Duggar's sisters. The sisters had sued a number of Arkansas officials in 2017, arguing that police improperly released documents from the molestation investigation and violated their privacy.

Though most of the facts contained in Brooks' ruling were already known to the public through media reports and police documents, Brooks' ruling summarized the disturbing, yearslong series of events in gripping detail.
