He is an azz. Glad he lost his job. Hope he goes broke and is never offered another decent job as long as he lives. He deserves to suffer after what he put those poor dry cleaner owners through.:furious:

Uummm...how is he a whistleblower?? He didn't blow the whistle on anyone. He lost his job because he tried to use the law to line his pockets at the expense of that poor drycleaner. He lost his job because he clearly cannot interpret the law correctly if he thought his own case had merit. Guy needs to have a big L tatooed on his forehead!!

WASHINGTON, D.C. — An appeals court says there will be no new trial for a former District of Columbia judge who tried to sue his dry cleaners for $54 million over a lost pair of pants.

The D.C. Court of Appeals on Thursday rejected the request from Roy L. Pearson to overturn a 2007 ruling that denied him damages.

This idiot needs to be locked up or shot! He's trying to bankrupt that poor family!

WASHINGTON — A former District of Columbia judge who unsuccessfully sued his dry cleaners for $54 million over a lost pair of pants isn't giving up.

Roy Pearson has filed a petition with the D.C. Court of Appeals, requesting the case be reheard — this time by a nine-judge panel.
