Juggalo Thread

They are lurkers and skulkers. They make their living like Jersey did, sneaking in houses and breaking into cars.

And everyone knew about Lisa because she was out in her front yard every day. And Jersey used to hang out across the street. Who knows who else hangs out there.

jersey was the reason I first thought about the possibility; his actions were typical. Then when MW described herself as one, I saw that lifestyle as a possibility in this case. It would have been so easy for jersey, with his history, to get in and out of a house so easily. This possibility worries me because it doesn't bode well for Lisa. :( IMHO

the juggalo connection, on my list is well near the bottom of possible POIs, however I think Lisa is worth exploring any and every avenue. As to a connection to Lisa, DB or anyone else, I don't think those type of social misfits care who it is. We do know from the scanner thread there were other attempted breakins with residents in the home that night. We also can't rule out other unknown persons, just because their names have not been mentioned yet. It is said that MW had juggalo connections or aspirations, doesn't mean that all her contacts lived in the so called flop house or that we've even heard of them. Again, I rank it low on my list but not out mind until a perp is caught.

I entertain it as a possibility, as are the others. The whole MW/jersey/flophouse thing is worrisome.

'TRUE' Jugalos live a criminal life. They lie, cheat and steal to make their way in life. If someone who had those phones called that number then they may have been a juggalo as well. And imo, ONLY someone as messed up psychologically as a juggalo would be running around with a baby all night.

They are totally irrational and twisted in their thinking. There are a lot more crimes of violence committed by juggalos than be the small group of professed vampires, imo.

A quote from a blog about A Gathering of Juggalos.

"Fetuses! We got fetuses!" She's wearing a plastic baby fetus on a chain around her neck.

I can see Lisa being taken as an 'eff u'.

Juggalos live and hang out together. Her house has been described as a 'flop house' where she allowed people to come and go, and use her phone. THAT is exactly how the jugalo tribe works. You are always welcome to crash with another member of the tribe. If she is a jugalo, then they all are, imo.

Yes. Many Juggalos live a transient lifestyle. They don't really stay in one place, they just kind of "crash" wherever.

OMG. The 15 yr old who killed 9 yr old Elizabeth Olten, FOR NO REASON, was a juggallette.

Juggalette Alyssa Bustamante (pictured left), 15, was accused by her best friend of murdering a 9-year-old neighbor Elizabeth Olten. Authorities say that Bustamante strangled, stabbed and cut 9 year-old Elizabeth Olten’s throat.

Snipped : OMG -- I remember this when this happened ! And wasn't it recently in the news, like in the last couple of weeks, regarding her "sentencing hearing" or something like that ?

Oh -- we know that MW is a juggalo -- is this guy Dane Greathouse a "juggalo" as well ?

And thanks again katdydid23 for this info : I vote to make you the "juggalo expert" here at WS ! You have so much knowledge on this subject .

Hi, I've been lurking around here for a long time, and finally decided to register when I saw this thread. I live about....15 min. away from where this happened, and I'm in the area quite often. I think about Lisa often, and I'm waiting for the day I hear she's been found, alive and safe!

I just wanted to say, I don't call myself a Juggalette...but I have listened to ICP on and off for years. My sister does consider herself a Juggalette though, and she is your average 19 year old. I've known a LOT of Juggalos, none of them were violent, none of them on drugs. I think a few bad apples have ruined it for everyone, and now it seems that anybody who listens to this band are considered criminals. And to be honest, I think those people that you hear about committing the crimes, would be out there doing the same thing...no matter what music they listened to.

I'm sorry if I'm going OT here, I just wanted to get it out there...from someone that knows a lot of juggalos...that killing people and such is definitely NOT the norm. And IMHO, I really don't think the fact that a few people around Lisa listened to ICP had anything to do with her disappearance. I could always be wrong though!

Glad you joined us, Rydia, and thank you for your input! :)

Thank you for your observation. And hello. Wouldn't of thought about the Juggalos except the FBI came had a study that came out last October which had the Juggalos on a list of gangs and that they were considered a threat.

it's good that your experience is benign; not everyone's is the same.

Since you live near there, have you met Megan wright? TIA

I was very surprised to hear about that. I really don't understand why, all of the juggalos I've come across (They're pretty popular where I live) have all been average people. Like I said, I think those people would still be out there...robbing and killing people no matter what music they chose to listen to. And I think the problem is deeper than the music.

I am sure their are young innocent kids out there that want to be ' wannabees' and are not true juggalos YET.
Like my daughter wore 'grunge clothes and listened to grunge music' for 6 months.
Now she is so ashamed of that time phase teens go through.
Some kids lived that way and ended up that way also........

Agreed! Everyone's experiences are different. And no, I have not met Megan. I wish I had some more useful info to give!

Rydia would this be considered a lifestyle or is it more along the lines of a young person trying to define themselves? Don't know if that made sense. Hope so. Thanks.

Welcome to Websleuths Rydia! And, thank you for your input.

I have never heard of a Juggalo group or person kidnapping and killing a baby. I know some Juggalo girls too and they are not into anything violent, criminal or anything more than young people looking to "find themselves". I just can't understand why some would say that Juggalos perhaps took Lisa. I mean, why not goths or MS13?

There are always sub-sets of groups. The music appears to be a catalyst, as well as the lifestyle. Interesting that the FBI has classified them with gangs; wonder what it will be like 20 years from now. Some that I have met have been harmless but there are the sub-groups.

Personally, I think for most people...especially the high school kids, its more about defining themselves. A way to be different from everyone else. I honestly don't see it as any different from all the other labels like goth and such. I know some people probably get really into it, but when I see that...its just wasting all their money on merchandise...maybe traveling a few states to go to the Gathering (which is nothing more than an outdoor concert).

Norest- Thank you! And exactly! I see it the same way, I'm actually surprised the "goths" haven't been labelled as a dangerous gang as well lol.

On Monday nights I'm at a class in the university where there are 3 girls and 2 guys who are juggalos/juggalettes. They do the hair and the dress but no face painting in class. Whoop whoop is heard from time to time; they seem more interested in classes, I guess because the parents are paying tuition.

American Juggalo, an interesting vid clip. Language and nudity is def not pg-13
