MM may not have spoken today since Messore was brought in as the DP specialist in case it came to this. I’d say it was their strategy since Messore didn’t say a word prior to today.

This is where I would LOVE to insert that happy little laughing and crying emoticon gif that's slapping the ground as he's rolling around laughing.

Here ya go ...

It's funny how I'll remember the DP-Qualified defense attorney Messore in my own mind as being so nonchalant. In my own mind I hear-- Hey, this isn't my first rodeo. I'm not going to try to change your mind. This Mark guy gets all the blame being the only one up for the death penalty. The other guy only gets the 25 yrs. It's not fair. Okay, well, go for it, jurors, cause you got the power.

Sorry, the instructions are very long. I'm trying to stay awake. Thankfully, I'm not on this jury.

What's Mark saying to Messore? He's pointing and trying to make some remark to his attorney. Mark's not as dumb as he sometimes looks.

I'm actually shocked that the jury would not be given a copy of the instructions for each juror. Judge has no problem making copies for them, so it's just odd that they would only be given one in the first place.

:) I have to say, I really like this Judge ... he knows how to run a courtroom ... very efficient and very concerned about what goes on, both in and outside the courtroom.

:)

What did some lady say to the judge about being there? I thought I heard her say she's enjoyed it very much, but she…??? What was that about? Anyone know?

Sound just came back on and I can hear the courtroom talk. The copies didn't collate.

Okay back on screen. Waiting for Mr. Sievers. Another jury note.

Probably because he’s not a death penalty lawyer. Messore is a DP lawyer and was only brought on to the defense team because of that.

BBM
He’s not a very good one IMO

Jury sends a second note: They want a transcript of CWW's testimony.

This is from CourtTV.

Goodness. Does this mean they are considering DP?
I would think LWOP would be a quick verdict

I saw several people ask/comment about what Teresa’s family wanted. I know early on (several years ago) they were not big proponents of the DP. At least that was the feedback I was given. They wanted him convicted & to never see the light of day outside of a prison. By now, I suspect that they are supporting the State in whatever way they can. Or, maybe their feelings have changed.

I honestly think they are immensely satisfied with the 1st Degree Murder conviction.
